Borderlands 2 is $12 at best buy. Quick convince me to buy it even though I have yet to finish the first game.

There is a great interview with Miyamoto on GI, gaf has the interview. I'm on my phone and links are being a pain. He goes into everything. He says straight up why would making a new IP with a new character make it a new game, for him new game ideas is what makes a new game. I totally agree with that butane my Nintendo has been more and more making the easy safe sequel rather than the true innovate sequel.-

also their refusal to even try a new IP is backfiring. There are people that simply don't want to play the same Nintendo franchises anymore, one or two mature like games would do wonders for the goodwill of many gamers. And if you get some of those gamers to buy a Nintendo console they may try the new Mario and realize these games are still pretty awesome. And then maybe third parties wouldn't avoid the system like the plague.

miyamto needs to start thinking of retirement, he still is great in a guidance role but he should not be in charge of what games should be made. He is clearly totally opposed to starting a new ip  and when he does make one its some strange thing from his life. Nintendo needs new blood to try out new things while Miyamoto hangs back and helps them keep the gameplay quality high.

Miyamoto also talks about why pikmin 3 has no online, totally bullshit answer. Seems like pikmin is supposed to be played with wiimote, sweet. Seems like Metroid is still far off. They admit they made 3D world cause they wanted a Mario game that would sell better than a new galaxy. And he talks about making a new galaxy later, NO. Why are they stuck making these same games, I want a totally new groundbreaking Mario game. Oh and it seems like he admits that the gamepad is kind of pointless and only for menus.

After playing Last of Us, having these robotic enemies and NPC's is just is not working for me.  It seems like a vaudeville act, the whole thing is dripping with conceit, not demonstrating an honest thought but just shoving you down a hole.  Then, from a shooting perspective, everytime I aim with a weapon, it's just so floaty and imprecise.  I'm using the plasmids, they seem over-powered by contrast. I'm sure it gets better.

So, in short, I just played Last of Us, so the story and character elements seem like a puppet show, and I just beat Killzone 3, so from a shooter perspective Duck Hunt seems more accurate than Bioshock.

There is so much Nintendo negativity today. Ubisof French dude said zombiu was no where close to being profitable so don't expect much support. EA saying wii u is like an offline system he lack of good online is holding back all the ea sports games. The Miyamoto stuff which reads like they will just keep on doing as they do no matter what.

It's  becoming a broken record I know. The Miyamoto interview bummed me out cause it sounds like they have no real response.
