I think I am going to get that Universe simulator, it supports 3D TVs. I own everything I want so I am buying weird simulator stuff now. lol.
You are like 2 months from getting an Oculus Rift aren't you?
Finished Bioshock Infinite. Have no idea where to go from here. May play Space Marine. Tried RDR Undead and some other game, but I need something mid-tier. So Space Matrine may be it.
japanese is tricky, what with multiple definitions and all, but I always thought shinigami meant devil.
FTL. I dunno.
I think it's more their personification of death ala Death. Maybe they're classed as demons, but I thought it was more along the line of gods.
Nevertheless, from now on I'll just assume shinigami means cholera. It'll put Death Note in a whole new light.

Robio is also absent. We can't have quorum without gg and robio.
I like to think that Yoda, Steel and Iga are having their own private council about how to fix the world, but Robio belongs down here with us mortals.
Kevin Levine is such a dick: "Okay, you guys are awesome!" you could see the genuine glimpse of happiness at his praise quickly fade away as the true meaning became clear: "but what you're doing is actually complete shit, and totally wrong."
Shin translates to "new" but it means more than the "brand spanking" meaning Westerners apply to it. It means "new" as in "death, obliteration and rebuilding from the ground up."
** Gee, I wonder why Japanese people assign such a value to that word...
**
Kami (Gami) translates to the general concept of "spirits" of which Gods, Goddesses and Demons belong to.
I know this wasn't what you were discussing, but Tensei means "cycle of rebirth."
So Shin Megami Tensei means "The Goddess of Death and Rebirth."
Shinigami means "Demons of Death."
Okami means "THE God or Goddess" aka Amaterasu. Anything with "O" in front of it pretty much means to regard what ever it preceeds with the utmost respect.
The Kanji that usually make up the most common usage of "Haija" stand for "Worship or Adoration" but in the sense that is "False or Wrong."
Haija commonly translates to the "Pagan Worship of False Idols or Gods."
The saddest thing about all this: I had a friend** over last night between 9 and 9:45 to relieve some stress*** so I'm kinda pleasantly worn out and tired this morning...
...but I checked the site on my iPod and just --HAD TO-- leap out of bed to re-post and correct what I had just written to be more clear...
I was just sooooo excited that I could actually provide some useful knowledge for a change, I just HAD TO get up!

***we fucked like rabbits
Are you referring to the clip in the ending in the music studio?
^Great stuff Leo, thanks for that. So haija here might mean falsely worshipped gods/demons of death, or sometihng to that effect? Which would make sense given that they are just the lackeys of the queen of the dead, but it's the haijas that the lay people are terrified of due to not having seen her (she's stuck down in the nether realm).
Yep. Dick was very tongue in cheek (uh oh!); he was obvioulsy being as nice as possible about it, but their reaction was amusing.
I love when he called HIM (Troy) Eric Clapton and HER Jewel.
She did ---NOT--- appreciate that!!
Courtney "Elizabeth" Draper aka Jewel
Troy "Booker" Baker aka Eric Clapton...
...aka inFamous Second Son dude...
...aka Joel.
Looks as if Troy is going to give Nolan North a run for his money!![WinkWink](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-wink.gif)

Yeah. Embedding isn't working Edge...
