Yeah, but those are just covers. Crispin wrote his own songs (I bougth the CD). Sigh... I actually special ordered it into a Tower Records. Sometimes, I wish I knew me back then so I could slap me around and get my priorities straight.
For Genesis/ MEGA Drive fans, this is a great series on YouTube:

Today I played an amazing game that was a complete surprise. More on this later.
Next: Bioshock Infinite. I expect to hate it. Hope it proves me wrong.
I say the same thing about Metallica.
Edge, what is your favorite band? I respect your opinions enough that I'd honestly evaluate you preferred music for my own pleasure, entirely disambiguated from my own historical music preferences.
Its kind of tough to say...its changed many times over the years for various reasons. Metal is my favorite style but I'm also a big fan of 60's and 70's rock too. Some of the bands I like are probably too extreme for most people, some of the more brutal death metal bands I like. Its the extreme nature of the music that I love though...like controlled chaos.
My overall favorite band ever is still Pantera, because I grew up as a teenager with their music and IMO they were by far and away the best metal band of the 90's and consistently tried to reach new levels of aggression and integrity with their music. They were also incredible live...there was nothing like a Pantera show. They were a throwback to bands like Kiss and Zeppelin when it came to partying and putting on a show, but to the backdrop of a hardcore metal band. They also did not give a fuck what they did or what they said, which is something I respected.
Also around this time I got into bands like Morbid Angel, who I still think is the best Death Metal band of all time. Alice In Chains....they were so unique and awesome. Primus...love them. I used to play bass guitar so Les Claypool was definitely an inspiration. Mercyful Fate and Megadeth. Slayer. Testament also....was a huge fan of them. Faith No More.
I am also a big Iron Maiden fan. In many ways I still think they are what a band should be. I also like Jethro Tull for their acoustic guitar work, and The Doors wrote great songs. Metallica was the band that got me into music...used to play my brother's tapes of Master Of Puppets and Justice For All constantly.
Nowadays, I like Opeth a lot. They are kind of a weird mix of a death metal band and a classic rock band. Testament still put out great stuff, better than any of the older bands. Tomahawk, great alternative band. Big fan of guitar stuff like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, etc. I like Black Metal stuff like Dimmu Borgir and Emperor.
There's really too much to list off. lol
I became more of an alternative fan, myself, after middle school. I just relate to that music more.
Damn, The Last of Us is intense! I need to take a break after just about every crazy encounter.
I think Testament sounds better and tighter now than when they were young.
Enjoy the most insane ridiculous ending ever.
Iga did you see Anderson Silva lose last night. Crazy fight.
I just watched Tennis, that was pretty intense at the end, champions falling left and right this weekend.
Play the game once and you'll immediately know this, but I thought I would just post it here as a little piece of cool trivia!
Did not see it yet. I am streaming it now as we speak.
Still not used that the English are cheering for a Scotsman. Murray should have walked up to Prime-Minister Cameron after winning the match and punched him square in the face, while screaming FREEDOM!
Yeah, I'm baffled how people can marathon the game. Each encounter takes a lot out of me.
Speaking of TLoU, I might can squeeze in a couple of mp matches in a few.
Lol at Anderson Silva. Sure clowning can be fun, but god damn, he took it to the next level. He deserves to be KTFO. Weidman hit him so hard, he suddely started speaking english post fight!
The prison in Eryth sea? You're about halfway now.
