I agree I think people just hate it because it is Nintendo; If Sony or Microsoft made the decisions Nintendo made people would be raving about how it was the best system of all time.

People seem to think it is a screen, I don't think so. At least I hope not, it would be too small to be very useful and just add cost to the controller.
Very true. Just look at all the people who at one time based Mario Kart and Brawl last gen, and yet praised Sony for LBP Karting and Sony All-Stars.

That's not a touchscreen, it's KITT's red light voice scanner.
it looks way to small to be a touchscreen, but maybe it's motion control of some sort.

I thought it was a touchpad but then I noticed the speaker and I wondered why they needed a speaker if it doesn't have a screen.

Wii-mote has a speaker but no screen. I'm guessing for the same reasons. I always dug it when games made use of the Wii-mote speaker.

On a 5 WEEK reporting period Wii U might have sold... 55k.
The source is a bit iffy so we are not 100% sure but that is what we got now.
So GG left on vacation looking forward to Aliens for the Wii U and happy with the system to return to... this. The Wii U in ruins, Aliens is a disaster, third parties jumping ship.
Ok I think I figured out the crashing problem, when I turned off Anti alising it stopped crashing. Will have to play somemore but I think thats it.
PS I got my $1000 dollar refund from Ebay today, time to start sourcing that new PC Again.I might just get a gaming laptop!
NEVER has the PS3 had a month that bad.
The GC sold more in its same period.
And this was a 5 week month. This is a brand new system without supply constriants. Its software (outside Nintendo) is worse than Vita levels. This is the biggest console disaster we have seen since the Dreamcast.
No more fun and games, this is real, this thing is in trouble. Massive price cut has to be coming soon, an ambassador program like the 3DS. The crazy thing is there is NO software in the horizon to help this thing.
In all fairness, I don't know if those same people were just as excited with the finished products. But when the games were announced there was ridiculous levels of excitement from the very same people who had repeatedly bashed the Nintendo equivelents.
Yeah Nintendo better come out with something big soon. Even with a price drop it has to have software. Someone over there better fix the VC platform or something. Google Earth or Google Maps or whatever the hell that thing is, just isn't the killer app the system needs.
