Capcom today confirmed that the critically acclaimed 3DS survival horror will be coming to the Wii U on 24 May in the UK. As well as featuring an HD upgrade in the graphics department, the game will also feature new enemies, a new difficulty mode, a new playable Raid character in the form of series favourite Hunk, GamePad maps, menus and inventory, and weapon additions to Raid mode.
If you've never played the original, Resident Evil Revelations is the game that brings the fear back to the Resident Evil series. Set primarily aboard the Queen Zenobia, a cruise ship adrift in the Mediterranean, Jill Valentine and and her partner Parker board the supposedly abandoned Zenobia in search of their mysteriously missing ally, Chris Redfield, only to find themselves on a boat populated by monsters. Meanwhile, Redfield is off in the European Mountains with his new partner Jessica, uncovering plot details and fending off vicious attacks from infected wolves and other abominations.
It's retail and then Digital versions for Xbox 360 and Wii U will follow at a later, unspecified time.
Yaaaaaay, this looks like it is gonna be the real RE6.
I'm excited to play it.
It's a good game, I wont double dip at that fecking price, I expected a cheapish digital download not a $50 retail game. Not enough new stuff to tempt me. If you haven't tried it though it's definitely worth getting if you are a RE fan.

Hmmm, revelations Wii U will have touchscreen maps, inventory, wonder if it will have gyro aiming too from the 3DS game? Hopefully shooter devs will play around with it and take note. Damn analog stick aiming.
As far as tomorrows Nintendo Direct is anyone expecting anything big or just confirmation about things we know are in development?
