Damn Diablo III? I'm jealous.
Now that I'm finished with Game of Thrones I've moved onto Saints Row the Third (every bit as ridiculous and over the top as been promised), and of course Person 3: FES (which given that I'm only 25 hours in just about guarantees I'll be playing it for another 3 months or so).
Skyrim. Nothin' but Skyrim...
I saw this and had to share. This is the cover art of the Intellivsion cartridge of Donkey Kong:
Ah. Good times, good times...
I grew up playing the Atari 2600 version:
This version of the game made me hold a grudge and hate Donkey Kong for a good 20 years.
Compare that to Colecovision's!
At least Mario --LOOKED-- like Mario!
Why mario looked like a mix of Tony Stark and Thor?
Ahhhh yes the Colecovision version. Best version out there. Only one kid in my neighborhood had a Coleco.... Stevie Vanich.... he was kind of an ass. But he had Coleco so we still played with him.
That's a brilliant observation Steel. I wonder if Marvel filed a lawsuit.
At least until the NES version eventually came out:
It took Nintendo doing it themselves to get it right!
I'm surprised all of this retro talk hasn't attracted a certain rodent...
BTW, Coleco developed the Atari 2600 port of Donkey Kong for Nintendo. Hmm, I wonder why it sucked?
That took about 60 seconds longer than I thought it would...
I was looking at porn.
OMG I loved Colecovision I had about 100 games for it ! I sold about 60 of them to Aspro a few years ago, it really was the first home system where the games played and looked like arcade games. I loved that damn thing.
Which totally explains why you were only distracted for 60 seconds...
