Ugh....yes to Crysis 3 but I was hoping for a return to the tropics and open gameplay...AND that it would be a Super PC juggernaut like Crysis 1.

If what this guy is saying is true, then that would make sense with Nintendo supposedly using that Radeon 4870 GPU....it WOULD be like Xbox to the PS2. Again, those people saying it "just doesn't stack up" and shit like that are delusional if its using this far better tech.
Dreamcast to N64 is not a better comparison....lol. Dreamcast obliterated N64 and wasn't too far behind the PS2.
And if the rumors of PS4 and Nextbox basically not being too far advanced ahead of the current gen themselves hold true, then they will likely be "Xbox to the PS2" ahead of the Nintendo, at best. I almost hope it turns out like that just because of how hilarious it would be with all the morons out there saying things like "PS4 and Nextbox will usher in a new era of graphics" and crap like that.
All I know is that you like Quake.
And Dreamcasts.
Dreamcast was awesome. N64 expansion pack with Perfect Dark looked pretty Dreamcasty though. DC was great though, definetly in the same gen as xbox, ps2 etc.
I'm waiting on my 16 core Nextbox with wireless tablet and Kinect built in as the rumours say. Has to be affordable right Xbox World Mag?
Sony's financials are in the crapper at the moment, they usually go for good hardware, Vita for instance I thought would be something cheaper and more feature driven than graphics driven. I was wrong.
But long term PS4 plans? I know they wanted to bleed PS3 dry to recoup costs on it. Kuteragi really screwed the pooch. PS4 specs sound good but its discrete GPU needs to work with the main GPU. Otherwise so far the performance indicates 1080p native for some heavy graphics games, basically what PCs are already doing anyway.
