After playing almost half of Halo's campaign...there is still no doubt when this game is played on Heroic difficulty its still the most enjoyable, funnest single-player FPS ever made IMO. The action and interaction with the AI just feels damn near perfect, still to this day. I honestly don't know why Bungie could never duplicate this in any...ANY, Halo game afterwards. Just using this AI code would have made the single player in all the other games 10 times better.

I remember when I played Halo 2 for the 1st time, within the 1st 5 minutes of the game I could tell the AI just wasn't as good. And on the harder difficulties, instead of feeling like a solid challenge, the game felt cheap compared to Halo 1. And that's been the case in all of them IMO.

If you loved Halo 1, then the remake is definitely worth the money. The terminals and skulls you can find are awesome too.

I have not played Halo 3 or Reach but is Halo 1 still the best one? Cause that game was amazingly awesome and Halo 2 was not.

They've all been better than Halo 2, but IMO Halo 1 is still the best.

1. Halo: Combat Evolved
2. Halo Reach
3. Halo ODST
4. Halo 3
5. Halo 2

Halo Wars is a really cool strategy game too btw.

Oh I have it backwards then, I thought that game was mostly about the new online and the new campaign was like 4 hours long and kind of a throw away.
