I'm going nuts here, getting insect bites.
I've tried using a flea killer detector and one of those bug zapping things for flying insects. I can't catch or see shit. Some invisible force is biting me daily now and it's pissing me off.
What can I do to find out what it is? There are no visible creatures at all.
Its possible you have a poltergiest in your area that is trying to inflict pain on you.
Shaddup^!
I've been bitten on my knuckle. What kind of evil bastard creature would do such a thing?
So, do you like that they did this or not? That's a question for everyone here BTW.
So sad what has happened to IGN, it's when one of these ridiculous editorials lands that I realise that I used to visit the site once a day for years and now it's barely a blip on my radar. These stupid articles are the only reason I remember that they even exist anymore.
LOL!
I just read Sony's PR for the 3D VR headset:
""Picture the scene," begins Sony's latest pitch. "You're sharing your television with friends, and while they watch the latest blockbuster movie, you decide you'd rather get a high speed kick from Gran Turismo 5.
"Normally, short of grabbing the TV remote and upsetting your mates, there'd be little to do except sit and quietly imagine the thrill of the Nurburgring at 200 miles per hour, while waiting for the movie's credits to roll...
"The Personal 3D Viewer is about to change all that, however, as you'll soon be able to immerse yourself completely in a private world of entertainment. Slipping the straps of the device around your head, you'll feel as though you're sat in your own personal cinema - complete with a dazzling 3D display and dynamic, 5.1 virtual surround sound."
Can you imagine sitting in a room with a bunch of friends and putting this thing on to slip inside your own private world? They would draw penises on you.
Not sure I trust the source, but hell, it's a boring day.
THQ on Wii U's Power
LOL I approve:
In the trailer, players will witness the drama unfold as they are put into the role of bush pilot Logan James after he survives a horrific plane crash that leaves him in a remote corner of the Alaskan high country. Injured, isolated and in the middle of a hostile wilderness, Logan is cut off from all hope of rescue and it’s up to players to guide him to safety in his epic battle against deadly predators and the frigid elements of nature.
Well, they've made some good games, but they also kind of stripped the PS3 of that "Playstation" feeling, so to speak. And I think that's a big part of the reason why PS3 hasn't been anywhere near as successful as past Sony consoles. They seemed like they were being a follower, instead of a leader.
So, if there were more Jak and Daxters, Sly Racoons and Rachets out there, do you think they would have been as popular as they were on PS2? Or has the market changed like what Peter Moore said about Rare?
I think if they had made those, and also more games like Shadow OTC and Ico, stuff like Mark of Kri...as well as actually went and got 3rd-party exclusives like they always had, they would have been more popular.
Sony needs more exclusive franchises that don't feel like they're trying to copy the "xbox" style. Obviously not selling your console for $600 helps too. All the games that used to go hand in hand with Playstation gaming are all multi-platform now. The Resident Evil's, Tomb Raider's, Final Fantasies, Metal Gear's, etc...
Shooters have been the big thing for over 10 years now really.
Even back in the 90's, if you wanted to be one of the "cool people" you were playing Goldeneye. Granted, Shooters have taken over to a ridiculous degree in this era though. I'm really hoping there's less of an emphasis on the genre going forward, and more on clever level design and things that have been lacking to an extent.
Also, the systems last gen were comparable also....all 3 of them were. Surely all those PS2 exclusives could have easily been adapted to the Xbox and Gamecube, yet they weren't. Consoles haven't been drastically different from each other since the PS1/N64 days.
"Even back in the 90's, if you wanted to be one of the "cool people" you were playing Goldeneye"
The cool people weren't playing games.
Cool people still don't.
