I'm also gonna write an email to Nintendo asking them why they refuse to let me give them over $150 for a mere 3 games. Its a shame when any company refuses to release quality games worldwide....but its completely unacceptable when a platform holder/hardware maker who is supposed to be leading the industry, and who has plenty of funding to do it, does this.
This is why many people do not like Nintendo...stubborn shit like this.
If they were planning on moving these games to the Wii 2- whether on disc or in digital format- that would be one thing. But to just pretend the games are not wanted and never let them see the light of day in a worldwide release? I mean fuck you up the ass with a spiked dildo Reggie.
Valve is clearly dipping their toes into microtransactions, but it's not necessarily an indication of their future yet (remember episodic content)? The other thing is who doesn't already have it that would want it?
It made it slightly tempting for me to check it out, I doubt I'm th only one.
Not sure you'd be up to going back to the old stuff, so I'd suggest the game I am currently playing, Nostalgia. It reminds me a bit of Eternal Sonata meets Skies of Arcadia.

Has anybody interviewed Reggie and asked him exactly why NOA is refusing the release of so many high quality games? Refusing the release of some of the highest quality games your console has ever seen in both an artistic way and a technical way? I haven't seen one, and I'd love to see his horrible answer.
Of course not, the journalist are too busy with Nintendo = gimmick and casual BS. No journalist has have asked, Reggie where the fuck is Xenoblade? Why is it getting localized in Europe and not in America? Games journalism is a fucking joke.
The RE:Mercs being a disposable game is old to me, but I posted it as I don't remember seeing it here before. CAPCOM is flirting with curbing re-sale on the 3DS.
His response would be something like this:
"I can't speak specifically about those games at this time. However, I can assure our customers that we have plenty of fantastic gaming experiences coming their way on Wii. We just released Wii Play Motion, and it's awesome fun!"
Talking to Nintendo is like talking to a pumpkin. Reggie would just say something like, "Or is it?"
Since you've already mentioned TEWEY, you should definitely check it out. It does take a bit to get into, and there are some pretty brutal moments, but it's otherwise an experience you cannot get anywhere else. And it's great.
If you haven't already, check out the Mario & Luigi games. While the first is on GBA, all three are incredible games.
Now you understand where I come from where Nintendo decide to not release stuff out here.
It's almost as bullshit as the times Nintendo decided to not locally release Sin & Punishment 2, Punch Out, Jam With The Band, Planet Puzzle League and others I'm sure out here. At least with the Wii stuff, we could import - but when they have to partner with other retailers for exclusive distribution (the aforementioned Punch Out), it's kinda goddamned bizzare.

I just finished Witcher 2, it gets a 9.1 from me. Incredible game held back slightly by some bugs and technical issues.
