What is that game about?
Twisted Metal? It's the re-boot of Jaffe's car combat franchise.
Or do you ask ironically due to the lack of cars (and combat) in that art?
No, I really meant that. Never played one of those.
Yeah, it's vehicular combat, the first two were by Jaffe, then they got bad, then he re-booted it with Twisted Metal Black on the PS2, which attached some dark story telling to the franchise.
It spawned a lot of clones, like Vigilante 8, Full Auto (to a degree), Death Rally etc...
I quit....
Oh well fine have your time trial. I'm ranked 776 on the overall combined rankings. Once you beat that let me know.

Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileTime for a PSP Vader. Go get yourself Peace Walker.
They must like you a lot to trust you with so much, so quickly! Like Robio said, get a PSP, play some Peace Walker, see some more of the country. This will be an adjustment, but your PS3, friends and family will wait.
Pac-man toys available at Freckle Bitch's (or Wendy's if you have not played Saint's Row).
http://tinycartridge.com/post/3702542285/pac-man-party-toys-available-in-wendys-kids
It seems I'll be eating at Wendy's a couple times over the next few weeks. Fortunately I've got the kiddo so we can pretend that the toys are for him.
Whenever there was a game related trinket in the past I've always blown in, paid the money, taken the tricket out of the bag and left the bag on the counter. This was after I had many encounters like this:
Me: I'd like to buy the Kid's meal, but I really only want the give-away game. I don't need the food?
Cashier: Would you like fries with that?
Me: No. I don't want the food, just the game. Preferably "Big Bumpin'" if you have it.
Cashier: I don;t know if we have "Big Bumpin'", but you have to buy the food.
Me: Yes, I'm willing to pay for the food, and the game, but I don't need the food.
Cashier: But the game come with the food.
Me:
Okay. Diet Coke please.
Cashier: Is Pepsi okay?
Me:
Yes.
Yeah that's a familiar story. Prior to my days of having kids I dated a girl who was one of those Beanie Baby fanatics (I've had my share of psychos, and none more than her), so were buying Happy meals multiple times a week.. We eventually learned just take the Happy Meal and eat the cheese burger. Far easier than dealing with the schmuck behind the counter.
Yo Leo! Deadly Premonition Spoilercast, interview with SWERY and the localizing script dude:
http://au.gamespot.com/pages/features/hotspot/index.php?id=2101
Bulletstorm $40 on Amazon today. USD of course.
I don't know if I caught this particular one, but I posted a bunch of SWERY interviews and stuff from GDC and beyond in the last two weeks when you were taking your break.
SWERY is probably one of the most interesting developers ever!
Games that you learn lessons from and mature the player after playing them? Cool...
Games that have non-essential quests that are there just for fun?
Characters with heart?
Resolution?
SWERY wants to make games he loves, but hopes they make him look artistic?
The industry needs more guys like this, but I am 110% positive AMERICAN publishers would see him as too risky and not profitable, appealing to only small niches. (Dicks!)
Deadly Premonition:
Possibly coming to PS3 in the U.S. or NGP or 3DS...!
YES!
Suda-51 + SWERY =
...and then they go and address the very concern I have with America and SWERY. At least I still think like a gamer!
