I had to look up what thatt game was (I had completly forgotten about that franchise). What makes it so good Homer?
Just how batshit insane it is. Go look up some videos, because it defies explaination.
I think the point of the person bringing the comic to our attention was that the lower screen was smaller than the upper screen (yeah a stretch). Also the graphics of a shark traversing two screens (something a Game and watch never did) makes it look like a current DS.
I just finished Ghost of Sparta. It only took 5 and a half hours but I was playing on easy (I thought it's too easy but I thought I was playing on normal, oh well). It still felt like a very robust, condensed, complete experience that didn't need to be any longer though, and now there's an arena mode, some other challenge stuff to do, and lots of stuff to unlock. I'd probably not feel it's worth it if I had paid full price but since I just borrowed it, well, it was a pretty awesome ride. I just wish it had less QTEs, and a more consistent frame rate would have been sweet too. It didn't affect gameplay or anything, but the few times it seemed to hit 60 it was so obvious and good looking that you missed it for a while after that. The game had me in awe often with what they were pulling off on PSP though. Sony should have funded these guys and turned them into their portable Factor 5. If you have a PSP, and since Sony didn't add it and Chains of Olympus to the God of War collection on PS3, buy this if you can find it for a reasonable price and like beat 'em ups. Play on hard to begin with to make it last longer. And buy MGS: Peace Walker (oodles of content in this one!) while you're at it, since that didn't come on PS3 as some were waiting for.

Did you play Chains of Olympus Aggie? I love that game (even slightly more thatn GoW2).
I only played the demo of Chains of Olympus but at the time it didn't make me very interested (I guess the area in the demo was crap). Ghost of Sparta somehow grabbed me by the balls, lol. I guess I was in the right mood.

Getting back to TF2 helped me break free from WoW. I never bought the full version, and I'm not in the mood for playing it anymore. Yay! I even uninstalled it. I would be, however, interested in picking up a copy of WarCraft 3 alongside with SC2.
SWERY, the man respsonsible for Deadly Premonition has his next game coming out this week, Lord of Arcana for the PSP. It's a Monster Hunter clone, so should be interesting to see more of this dudes work and whether or not he has a distinctive style that carries over from one genre to another.
I've been wondering how you were going with WoW. How many hours di dyou put into it before uninstalling?
I played the Lord of Arcana demo. It's more like Valhalla Knights. The boss in the demo was pretty crap, but others may be better. I mainly didn't like how that, while you can see enemies wandering the field, upon touching them you enter a different, limited combat area like an old school JRPG. Although the action remains real time there's just nothing special to it. It's neither very technical and balanced like Monster Hunter, nor as outrageous and cool as other hack and slash games. But, since it has level ups, unlike Monster Hunter, maybe it improves enough later. I did get a couple new moves just by playing the few demo quests a few times. It's not bad, just unspectacular.

I'd REALLY like to hear from Homer why this was his GOTY last year. It has a ton of interesting concepts going on in it, but it just didn't click for me. I am left feeling like I "missed" something.
