I read just the other day that it sold quite well.  It's a game born to be a franchise, I can't wait to get my copy of the first one.

I played some more Heavenly Sword last night. Two things stopped my playthrough:

1. An annoying boss called the Fox. If you die against him you have to restart the whole section (3 rounds of battles with increasingly hard foes before reaching him). I hate this shit in action games, especially when the boss in question whips out cheap ass unblockable special attacks like no tomorrow.
2. Voice acting outside my girlfriend Anna Torv is not only cheesy, is downright obnoxious. That crazy king voiced by Gollum is vomit inducing, from his mannerisms to his "zany" bad guy schtick. That Fox dude is also as enjoyable as a rusted nail over a chalkboard.

As of now, I don't know if I'll have enough patience to go through it.

I had forgetten about Fox... yeah... I'd encourage you to keep going and try and get to the end boss, just so you know...

I actually liked the bad guys in this game with their pantomime evilness.  You know thatthe actor that plays that dude is that ugly thing from LoTR movies yeah?  (Don't know his name, have not seen them).  I'm guessing since you know about Torv you probably know that as well.

Yeah, I knew who he was, hence why I said the bolded. Andy Serkis. As a matter of fact I can almost picture Gollum's face when the King yells right before Nariko jumps down a cliff.

I feel so left out not having a PS3. I cant even go to other forums without feeling like an outsider. Everyone is playing all the big new games which I cant play. I am usually so current, I feel so lost.

At least next week I get Sonic 4, that is something...
