Captain America is going to take place during World War II, and a large chunk of the movie is in fact shot in Britain. It's basically going to show his life until he got frozen for decades before the Avengers found him, so this is right on with the story.
I bet MS is wishing they spent less on Cirque du Soliel and more on the development for Kinnect.
The optimist proclaims we live in the best of all possible worlds
while the pessimist fears this is true.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I see. Will it feature the Red Skull then? Or the 5 other forgotten warriors?
Another Kinect update:
It's still unclear what the exact situation is. It seems that English language support for Kinect will be in place for launch, but the exact timetable for other European language support remains undecided. That's all the information we have for now.
Apologies for all the confusion.
Yes indeed, Red Skull with be the main villain along with a whole bunch of Nazi's.
Serves them right. Screw all them damned foreigners for not knowing English. This is technology that shouldn't be in Russian hands anyway.
Cool. That new dlc for Mass Effect 2 sounds great. I already played through the previous dlc packs so this one is certainly welcomed. I doubt we'll finally see the Shadow Broker revealed before ME3 but this should be good stuff none-the-less.
Agent Smith is Red Skull.
Ah. Does anyone else remember the Captain America movie from the 80s? They never show it on TV. I want to record it just to see it again.
Doing a few more updates.
Gameinformer scan of the metroid review
Is this a good deal? I have no idea about US prices.
That better be GI being GI, I am hoping for lots of 9's...
-the third-person combat is very smooth and effortless
-bosses and mini-bosses tend to involve a lot of trial-and-error, as weak points are not immediately obvious
-lots of exploration in the game (yay!)
-Nate Bihldorff (of Treehouse fame) recorded a placeholder voiceover for the tutorial, but they ended up being so impressed with his performance as a nasally scientist that they decided to keep it in the final game
-final sentences of the review: "It may not be the pinnacle of the series, but longtime fans shouldn't let that deter them from checking out an overall enjoyable experience. Again, it's all about managing your expectations."
4/5
I can't take GI seriously...though I think the new Metroid is going to be in the 8.5 range.
Yup....gonna be an 8.5ish game. Great, but not mindblowing overall. Pretty much what I expected. Very excited to check it out.
Ahhh yes I unfortunately remember that. Ned Beatty was in that I think. God awful movie on every level. That's what Marvel was fighting off bankruptcy and sold their film rights off just to stay alive.
Yeah I guess, that is what I figured, then I saw some videos and got excited. My original gut reaction was always an 8-.8.5ish game.
Well the normal price for Wii here is $200, so it seems Nintendo is dropping it to $150 after getting obliterated by Xbox sales last month? About time. Hell I thought the Wii was gonna LAUNCH at $150 4 years ago, as did Matt C. & many others. Can't believe its taken this long.
