Mai or Tifa. Hmmm. I know! Mai vs. Tifa. Catfight!
Great news!
I'll be getting it. I picked up another of Cing's games last night "Again" -- anyone played it? It is $12 USD on amazon today.
"Let me start by saying, I have never, and I will never, make a design change as a result of a focus test. It has not happened at any point in my 27 years, and it will not happen. I will quit if that happens -- if you ever catch me doing that, that will be last thing I ever do in the games business, okay?
What I have done, is about three years ago when we first started thinking about this, we did over a thousand versions of Mickey -- I'm assuming this is where this started. So we did a focus test because..."
Epic Fail. You can stop right there Warren. If you don't make changes because of focus tests then why spend the money conducting them?
Hmm, hasn't GameFan has been dead for over a decade?
It died in 2000, then Dave Halverson brought it back in May this year. Now their site is down. Not that I care, I guess only for gossip do I care.
I didn't know they had a site.
I finally finished off Infamous and got my first platinum. I now await Infamous 2.
I didn't know John Davison even WORKED at Gamepro mag. That last issue looks good, I'll have to grab a copy.
John Davison was the EIC of EGM when they were on top of the world, in the mid to late 90's. After he left, the mag went downhill bigtime. I mean I like Dan Hsu.....but he really ruined that magazine.
I'd agree with you on that (about EGM). JD has always had a good sense of what makes a good magazine. I liked what he did with OPM as well. He was at GamePro for under a year I think (he sold his site whattheyplay -- the one that helpd parent pick suitable games).
I was so totally impressed with that game. Why can't they all be that good? You played both bad and good yeah? (I only played good). And how about that story twist at the end?
That's pretty cool methinks. Up until vader started talking about X-Com, whenever I saw someone talk about it in a forum like "Remember X-Com? It was so great...blah...blah...blah" I thought they were talking about X-band, which enabled on-line play for the Genesis.
It sounds like he's about to say why before he's cut off.
I didn't know either. As a former EGM reader, that's kind of unthinkable since Gamepro was like their biggest enemy!
And yeah, Hsu did screw it up! It was going good in the beginning but then it went downhill.
I don't even remember Game Fan. But I know well not to ever trust Dave Halverson in any game he reviews.
I wish Hotel Dusk 2 came here. Sometimes NoA ticks me off...in fact, SCEA also ticks me off.
They've both been pretty bad.

Now Playing: Golden Sun Dark Dawn, God of War Ghost of Sparta, and DKC Returns
It's very good, just don't listen to Vader.
Lengthwise it's on par with other graphic adventures.
Rocky? I assume you mean the lull after the first fight and before the cabin fight?
Man or woman you'd do it anyway.
DS games are region free. Just import it.
Wat?
Thank f***, Sudas horror game is on 360 and PS3.
I remember originally it was a PS3 exclusive.
Updates done, nothing much interesting so far today.
Apart from 1999 Killzone pitch footage.
Oh yeah, I haven't played a game in 2 weeks.
Not hot. Plain Jane. I've turned DOWN better lookin' chicks.
