Well, I haven't finished much but for those games, TvsC is a fighting game so it's more of a off-and-on type of thing which requires no commitment. Star Ocean is on the PSP so I only play those at night when I can't sleep, on the crapper, or when I go on the road.

So Darksiders is my primary game. The others are just fillers.

DA isn't bad it is just waaaaaaay too story heavy and the auto fighting isn't fun. I don't feel like I am playing anything most of the time, I am sort of watching an interactive TV miniseries about a fake LOTR.

You know what I will say it, I am safe in here, WRPGs are bland when it comes to enemy and world design. You see that pick above, it is made of pure win. Beautiful forest location, big huge monster dude trying to club you, I look at that and I think "I want to play that".

Yeah I know what you mean dvader. I still enjoy a good WRPG yarn from time to time but JRPG's are where my heart lies, along with some Canadian wood. I'm always totally head-over-heels for the crazy and fantastical design elements of JRPG's like enemy and boss designs and environments. I'll always love those crazy-ass bosses that take a few fights to finally take down with them taking some further monstrously hideous evolution to grotesque proportions.

Wow, Archangel. I knew you enjoyed JRPGs but I didn't know you loved them more than WRPGs.

Same here. I prefer JRPGs more. I guess it's because I grew up with it, but it also fits my style of gaming.

I'm glad the boys here at VG Press aren't smoking up BioWare's butt like some of the game editors.

I always thought BioWare was slightly overrated and their games aren't really that fun, to be honest. I don't know, maybe I'm speaking out of my tail, but I guess I just can't get into a BioWare RPG as opposed to having fun with a game like White Knight Chronicles.

Although Dragon-Age isn't bad, I'd also rather play White Knight Chronicles over DAO. Looks more imaginative and inspired to me.
