So let me get this straight, I can WATCH the Alien and Predator movies (and even the Alien vs Predator movies, but who wants to do that?), which are legally available for purchase in this country, yet I cannot play a video game with them tearing the shit out of marines or other Aliens or Predators?
God this is stupid.
It's on the Aus PSN?!
Came out not too long ago, yeah.
FUCK YEAH! I can finally get past that fucking ninja then!
An avatar for Vader?
Seems like a perfect fit.

I refuse to get excited for Spirit Tracks.
It's working just fine. Your browser is probably caching your avatar so you aren't seeing a change -- right click your avatar and choose "Reload Image"

I was waiting for any slither of excuse to buy this game -- I now have it.
Is Tony Hawk's Ride this generations E.T? The game that killed the industry?
I wouldn't go that far personally, but it has to be ringing some bells over at Activision right?
Metacritic
The problem with ET was that everybody wanted it, and everybody expected a good game from Atari. Nobody wanted Tony Hawk Ride and nobody expected it to be any good.
---
Tell me to get back to rewriting this site so it's not horrible on mobileAnd that CBS made more games than there were systems for... A major mis-step, which is why I wouldn't go that far. But still, I have to wonder what is going on at Activision given the commercial failure of DJ Hero and the critical rejection of Ride.
You are a shock jock. I have a couple copies of this game and I played it before the internet deemed it the worst game ever. It is clearly not the worst game ever, but it is broken. I mean, once you get in one of those holes how the hell do you get out of them? ET gets a neck erection, but it doesn't actually help you get out of those fucking holes.
I've finished the game many, many, many times. It's not the best game in the world, but I had fun with it as a kid. There is a trick to getting out of the holes. Basically, when E.T. floats to the top, and the screen changes to the overworld, don't let go of the button until his entire body is away from the hole; if any part of his body is touching black, he will fall back in.
Here's a video detailing how to properly play the game: E.T. How To Beat Home Video Games 2
Thank you sir. The Yar's Revenge guy made that game yeah? In about 2 weeks?
Yup, but it took him about six weeks to make E.T.
