I would like to think that we have good taste here in the VG Press. Well except for Vader, that is! Oh and Steel, and the less we speak of that vile rodent, the better.
@GG
Check you fire. What?!
@Aspro
Shame on you, I am reporting you to Yoda
Spyborgs is crap but yes, it is polished.
The first few hours, define that because most COD games are only a few hours long.
Stranglehold was meh.
Great minds think alike.![LOL](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-laughing.gif)
Hey, there are people here who have played all the main games in the series. I'm going to watch the Darkside gametrailers review now. I dont care about the RE5 DLC as I have no 360 hard drive.
Should this be turning me on?
OH BTW guys there are new demos up on the Nintendo channel, World of Goo and Pokemon Rumble.
Updating now.

I think we have our official VGpress game in the Crystal Bearers. Firstly you can pick up and throw feces at people, secondly there's an epic train journey. Then today we learn this:
out in that desert area, Layle fought some dog enemies. Once he had a Reaction associated with them, he could get them to stop fighting, run over and, uh, urinate on him.
Also, somehow, some way, you can take a cow, hold it over Layle's head, and shoot enemies with its udders.
Bayonetta's received a stunning ten out of ten verdict in the latest issue of Edge Magazine. We can't say we were expecting that.
The gushing review calls the Platinum Games brawler "flawless" and "the kind of game you dream of playing". Don't hold back, Edge boys...
"From start to finish its intricate and intuitive fighting system is a masterclass, and it even finds time to reclaim vehicle levels. This is about as good as it gets," the magazine says.
"A thirdperson action game from the same school as Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden, Bayonetta has just memorised the best bits and burned down the building, its combination of seamless animation, sensory cues and riotous imagination setting a new standard."
Edge says the combat system "breaks new ground" and the story is "funny", but also finds time to be tender in places.
"It's a beautiful and graceful fighting game that lets imagination loose, and winks before slapping Dante, Kratos and every other hero back to the drawing board."
Exciting stuff. Read the full review in Edge issue 209, which is on sale now.
Three out four Wii titles launched during the period made a loss, while four of the firm’s five PSP games were profitable, the company said in a financial presentation.
In Japan, Muramasa: The Demon Blade sold 47,000 units, Arc Rise Fantasia 45,000 and Little King’s Story just 26,000, reports Siliconera. In the US and Europe, Little King’s Story moved 37,000 and 67,000 copies respectively. September release Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga has sold 16,000 units in North America.
The company’s top performing title was Half-Minute Hero for PSP with 70,000 sales. Fellow PSP releases Hitman Reborn! Battle Arena 2 and Valhalla Knights 2: Battle Stance sold 41,000 and 35,000 units.
Marvelous suggested that, as new IPs, a number of its games suffered from a lack of brand awareness. Its PSP titles performed better because they were based on established franchises and were cheaper to produce, the company said.
In late July Marvelous’ chief creative officer, Yasuhiro Wada, acknowledged that the development of new IP was commercially risky, but told us that it continues to be his ambition to promote new and original games that can help grow the Japanese market in the long-term.
Of single player, which is almost insignificant compared to the full game.
Bought that song alone, only one I was interested in. Will play it today and spend 5 minutes talking about it on the podcast.![Nyaa](/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)
I can't believe I am buying this over AC2, god I suck. I will get AC2 for christmas.
I'm wondering, how do you view the 10/10 Edge mag review when they 5/10 Dragon Age 360?
And this is the problem with modern games damnit.
I just finished COD4. Terrible on rails last level that reminded me of an old SEGA arcade game, finished off by more cinematics at the expense of gameplay. The bunker was boring too, counting down to a timer bleh.

@ GG That's easy they got the Bayonetta review right and the Dragon Age for 360 wrong.
Now if it was the same writer, then things get interesting.
Just been thinking about reviews a lot lately. Vader said the same thing as you when Famitsu reviewed Bayonetta and then did a bad review of another game.
I'm just internally analysing the way I think about reviews, don't worry about it.
