Yeah, I agree. RE5 is already old news. It would be pointless to port the game to Wii now, especially since the earliest it might come out would be Christmas 2010; and that's if they rushed it. *cough* Dead Rising Wii *cough*
Peter Moore talks EA Sports
I'd much rather read, "Peter Moore talks SSX 4" but he doesn't.
Poor guy.

“First of all I don’t think that Resident Evil was the only exception selling on Wii. There are other hardcore titles, such as Call of Duty, which were quite successful on Wii as well. People get this perception that on Nintendo Wii all there is are cutesy games. However, when you actually try to develop a game on Wii it costs you money, it’s time consuming and it’s not the easiest console to deal with. We were serious about creating and developing this particular game, and therefore the fan will accept and recognise our effort. I’m considering it a reward for our effort if you like. And also, we were lucky that we’ve got the Resident Evil brand, which is well-known all around the world. There are good games that didn’t sell, obviously. You need an X-Factor. However, vice versa people won’t buy it if it’s not a good game.”

If Peter Moore's theory about using Amazon as a barometer is worth a damn, then Ghostbusters did well on all 3 platforms and is still selling fairly well for the Wii. I think it got a stronger boost of initial sales on the 360 though so I suspect that's where you'll see the highest sales. Prototype seemed to do okay. Not nearly as well as Infamous though. I suspect Infamous will show up for a second month in the NPD. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Punch Out show up at the bottom of the Top 10 again either. On Amazon that game has not left the top 25 games since it came out. Looks like it'll be a long-term seller.
Speaking of ghostbusters........ I.
Er, nevermind, will post it in the classic cartoon thread.
On the whole De Blob/DC thing, I can rent De blob, I cant rent Deadly Creatures. I may never play DC if I dont buy it cheap somewhere. De Blob seems to be around, I see it every where, I dont see DC all that often.
Unless De Blob is like some 25+ hour game in that case I may get it. Above all I need value.
I think that De Blob and DC are around the same length, about 8-10 hrs each straight through. DC has no replay value.
But De Blob is a game you will replay levels in for the music and for fun. It also has challenges and free modes on top of that and is just an all around better package.
So I hear that Tiger Woods on PS3 had like $120 worth of DLC on the PSN store before the game even released and people are saying that the content should have been in the game in the first place.
Thoughts on DLC like this?
That's shit DLC. But as long as there are enough people willing to bend over and take some publisher's cock up their collective asses, we'll continue getting DLC like this one.
I agree. The 360/Ps3 version could have gone far.
