This is the end...my only friend...the end...
This isn't the end, it's just the beginning.
No sorrow or surprise...the end.
I'LL NEVER LOOK INTO YOUR EYES...AGAIN....
Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...strangers hand
In a...desperate land
Lost in a roman...wilderness of pain
And all the children are insane
All the children are insane
Waiting for the summer rain, yeah
Theres danger on the edge of town
Ride the kings highway, baby
Weird scenes inside the gold mine
Ride the highway west, baby
Ride the snake, ride the snake
To the lake, the ancient lake, baby
The snake is long, seven miles
Ride the snake...hes old, and his skin is cold
The west is the best
The west is the best
Get here, and well do the rest
The blue bus is callin us
The blue bus is callin us
Driver, where you taken us
The killer awoke before dawn, he put his boots on
He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall
He went into the room where his sister lived, and...then he
Paid a visit to his brother, and then he
He walked on down the hall, and
And he came to a door...and he looked inside
Father, yes son, I want to kill you
Mother...i want to...fuck you
Cmon baby, take a chance with us
Cmon baby, take a chance with us
Cmon baby, take a chance with us
And meet me at the back of the blue bus
Doin a blue rock
On a blue bus
Doin a blue rock
Cmon, yeah
Kill, kill, kill, kill, kill, kill
This is the end
Beautiful friend
This is the end
My only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But youll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end
W00t, capital letters in usernames!
The site looks pretty good, Yo! Only problem I've encountered (which, aside from logging in, is the only thing I've yet done) is when I try to go to previous pages here in GG weekly.
Edit: And it... turns zeroes into o's in "w00t"....
Wow we finally have a site with a name that isn't stupid. YAY!
EDIT - My only complaint with the site is that it feels kinda "cluttered".

Oh shit. I didn't think that the previous GG Weekly would also transfer over too.
That means my lyric quoting means nothing now.
Lame.
I see it.
Ravenprose, I tried repling in the AC thread you made but I got an error so I don't know if my comment went through so:
So cool. I am torn between getting it cheaper or getting it with the wii speak bundle. I would love to have wiispeak retro fit mario kart.
Let's see, how do I feel about this title? Well I am worried that it is going to be too similar to past games. I hope there are a few secrets in store for the game. I want there to be constant updates in items. And all new furniture as well.
---------------------------------------------
I got a shock this morning coming here, interesting new layout. I'm getting times new roman font here though, maybe my browser is defaulting? What is it suppossed to be Yodariquo? I dont like Times new roman!
Some cool customisation would be good, games like mysims allow you to contruct houses and things.
Please post more of these pictures. Preferably in a larger size.
Not sure I like the new smilies
I found the nintendo minute question a little stupid:
Q: While it's true that Wii has seen a lot of software hits, no single Wii game (except for one packed with a controller) has sold like Grand Theft Auto 4. Why do you think that is? And does it say anything about the Wii user base?
Well duh, firstly it's GTA and secondly it's a multiplatform game that can sell across 360 and PS3 and soon the PC too. Wii is only one platform. That PR woman at least put things in some perspective for Matt with her reply:
"Incidentally, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Mario Kart Wii have outsold the single-console sales of Grand Theft Auto IV in 2008 so far. And as you probably know, some analysts have predicted that Wii Fit will eventually surpass sales of Grand Theft Auto IV. In September alone, we sold 518,000 units of Wii Fit in the United States, according to the NPD Group. Remember – that's four months after it launched. We hope its appeal will continue to resonate with consumers through the holidays and beyond. "
If he's going to ask a question he should at least pick a relevant example. It seems like he has this agenda of trying to get nintendo to start making games he thinks they should be making, by making them look bad with silly questions. He has the right idea, but he needs better questions.
I cant seem to add articles
"omg forums!" came from an ecstatic gamer visiting the site. The rest of his words were a mess of gibberish, garbled english and references to genetalia.
Couple more Disaster NeoGAF impressions
Anyway, I'm on chapt. 24 (I think?), graphics range from shameful to pretty darn cool (mostly the former tho), the effects are especially well done... it doesn't help that the first half dozen chapters are the most terribile of the bunch either.
Btw, love the color palette of the game and the fire's amazing.
Music really kicks the game up a notch for me, fucking epic... wish there were more tracks, maybe there will be later?
Gameplay's fun, shooting sections are basically Time Crisis revised and that is a very good thing in my book, the driving parts are mostly sweet and even the rescue bits vary from decent to pretty solid, even if Ray's controls are a bit "tank-y" with that hateable splinter-cell like delay when doing a u-turn or doing a reaching up jump.
The motion controls are not intrusive but yeah, the game feels like a Wii game stuck in December '06 when these things were still new and developers would put em everywhere, where nowdays luckily we have something more balanced in terms of motion/traditional ratio.
I thinkk for most of the guys here it's not worth the 40 Euros I've paid the game (well 37 to be fair), but I don't regret buying the game in the slightest, I'm having fun, it's something new and refreshing and not for the Wii library only in my opinion.
Replay value's seems absolutely fenomenal and some of the "achievements" are a stroke of genius.
With the proper budget on production values this game could have beeen amazing, right now I'd say it's not quite a solid 7 in my book, just slightly less then that.
I usually import games from Japan and the US, all I can say is that I would recommend you considering on importing it only if you are a Wii-only owner without a good backlog for this christmas.
lenghty as well: clocked 15 hours, there's a ridiculous amount of chapters, and every chapter's got a lot of sections (up to 13).
the final fight is pretty hard, but not because it's designed to be hard..but because you've got to be really precise with your QTE gestures.
graphics are so-so..like I said, weather effects look good (mostly), fire looks shitty, models and vehicles look like crap
a solid 8.0 to me, definitely an entertaining game. One of the best things about it is that you really have to force yourself to put the controls down because you always want to see what's next. Variety is the key here, and believe me today I played six hours straight to the final showdown. You feel like a cheesy blockbuster hero and you want to finish this hell of a day as soon as possible
Yessir
No triangle choke demo
Yikes.
All better
