Are you sure it's the fan? I had an issue with an occasionally loud power source (a couple whacks usually shut it up ).
It's a laptop, so there's not that may things in there that make that kind of sound; it only has one fan, and the PSU is a separate module on the floor. I took off the back panel when I vaccumed it out, and it's definately the fan making the noise. No HDD failures yet, thankfully.
I found a replacement fan on ebay, but, after looking at how it's installed inside my case, it appears that I'll have to disassemble the whole damn computer to replace it.
I think this may be my last laptop. Towers are a whole lot easier to fix.
Virtual boy produces two seperate 2D images in each eye. Your brain thinks it's 3D, but it isn't realy 2D, just a illusion. Real 3D would be a hologram, where you could walk around it, and see different things depending on the angle.

Yeah, I know. I just like bringing up the Virtual Boy whenever people talk about true 3D.
Yes I know. Though there have been attempts to get 3D (or at least illusional 3D) to the market, people just aren't interested. Though attempts are being made more then now then ever so we'll see what will happen. I guess most people don't like the idea of things popping up in front of them. Of course this could be due to the fact that the techonology isn't there. Possibly if there were TV's with hologram displays so objects looked three dimensional then people might be willing to accept the feature. But even then I can see it not happening, there is such thing as too immersive to the public.
I'm another one of those guys who definitely does not want to go back to 8-bit graphics for anything. It lacks so much detail and looks, well, pixelated. Any strictly 2D games should be post-16-bit, so to speak, to appeal to me... unless it's like the 2D Metroids or Zeldas.
So basically everything should look like Guilty Gear quality?
Um... I dunno.
2D games after the SNES generation looked better than 2D games within the SNES generation, IMO. So I was talking about actual good-looking 2D games, not ones with the quality of SNES graphics. That's what I meant by "post-16-bit".
BTW any mass effect players out there, I'm trying to manually fix this core on the ice planet. And it has like 3 stacks of blocks and you are allowed to use the X, Y or B buttons to shift them. How am I suppossed to do this exactly? I have no omni-gel.
Trailer for John Woo's new film. Guy hasn't made a good movie since face off, but this actually looks pretty epic. There is a 9 minute promo reel there too.

Yeah Wario is pimp-alicious.
As for Mass Errect, I don't know what part you mean. Sorry. Get Omni-gel, lol.
I'm back to playing Okami since my PS3 is fucked right now and I can't play Persona 3. Man I gotta say, I'm enjoying Okami a lot more on Wii than I did on PS2. I think its the crarity and colorfulness of the world, much easier to see what shit is and where you're going than the PS2 version.
I'm also having zero problems with the Wii controls.

The moon cave was a huge bump in quality for me. Every room has a different colour scheme and art. Everything is so vibrant and the dungeon is more intricate and less linear and empty then the past caves and areas I have visited so far. Really coming to enjoy it.
I think the thing to remember with wii controls is that it is actually like painting as oppossed to using analogue sticks and alot of the time if it's not registering it is because you aren't doing it right. If you don't close a circle by joining the line, it's not a circle is it? If you don't draw a straight line than it isn't a straight line? However I find that it's pretty lenient most of the time and since there is no time limit you can take your time if you want to, though you rarely ever have to.

Got any pics? When EMO camoflage is mentioned I get a different picture in my head.
BTW Dvader, would you like to start posting miami time from 12:00 or from 14:00 pm?
I say it should be like the DS. 2D/3D hybrid (like how EVERY platform should be).

Hey, I just realized that the virtual boy is the first console with haptic feedback. If you play too much you will get a freaking headache.
Screw 2D en 3D how about 4 or 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10D
10 dimensions explained part 1 and part 2Now pay attention kids, you might learn something!
Whoa. My head hurts now, bobovic.
^^Stop playing the Virtual Boy than, raven!
Well something to ease your headache, and to lure Rag back here. See science can be fun too.
Rag won't come back again until you post a male stripper in a lab suit.
