Controls are way better than the Wii u/ switch game. Feels more like Fzero but holy shit this game looks great.
There's 4 graphics modes, even on basic 1080p it looks great, but when I shift it up each gear it looks better and better.
Smooth AF too.
Edit - what in the actual world? I enabled Ultra Quality mode.
Wtf? How is a 1cm device doing this? When Shinen said 4k textures etc I thought they were bull shitting...
The Switch 2 is actually a beast.
This system is 1 update away from being totally awesome, allowing switch 1 games to run at higher resolutions in handheld mode.
I've seen videos today of The Witcher 3 at a solid framerate and running much sharper.
Honestly if they do fix the 720p handheld resolution for switch 1 games I'd sell my OLED.
I made a thread collecting all the ways Switch 2 is forcing improvements to switch 1 games

Might have to replay this. It was fun but technically quite inconsistent before.
The Leslie Benzies interview is legitimately interesting. For those of you who don;t know him he was "the fixer" at Rockstar over the course of the GTA series development.
Nice. That’s one of a number of Switch 1 games I have sitting in my backlog.
I'm still stuck on a difficult dungeon I mentioned earler this week, but I realized I can progress further in the overworld than I'd thought. I saw a path blocked with lava and figured I needed an item to cross it; nope! You can walk on it but you'l take some damage. I crossed it quickly and found several more towns and some better equipment and items. Should make that dungeon a bit easier!
