On their most recent releases too, Artifex Mundi.
The games are as low as £1.39
I bought 5 of the newest ones to add to my collection. I have 54 now.
Hi everyone. I've been choking on work and sick. No gaming for me to speak of. By the time I get to the end of the day I'm too exhausted.
I did install Launchbox though, which has been fun:
https://www.launchbox-app.com/
Its a game launcher fo all the game on your PC, saving you from having to remember what games you have on all the various storefonts. I've been very happy with it so far and I'm just using the free version.
Metro VR game would be scary AF. You'd have to pay me to play a game like that in VR.
Wimp!
I want to play it but it'll give me motion sickness for sure.
This weekend, I've been playing various versions of Ms. Pac-man: Arcade, 2600, 7800 and Sega Genesis. I'm terrible at the arcade version, but decent at the 2600 and 7800 versions, probably since I played them a lot as a kid. I owned the Genesis version back in the day and really like it, excellent graphics update, but the scrolling screen sucks.
You likely already knwo the story but this weekend I read an interview with the GCC guys. They were going to call her Miss Pacman, bu thtne someone said, yeah but in the cutscenes she and Pacman have a baby, she should not be out of wedlock. So they changed it to Mrs. Pacman, but then one of the GCC wives (who had not taken her husbands name) objected. So Ms. Pacman it was.
And yes, the Genesis version is great. I used to play it on my SEGA nomad (my favourite gaem to play on the Nomad actually).
Yup. I remember reading that too. Times were different in the 80s.
Been playing The Last of Us Part II this weekend. Great looking game, solid gameplay, and a pretty strong emotional story. Am quite enjoying it.
Just yesterday I was wondering if I'd Play Last of Us III if they were to release one, and despite enjoying 1 & 2 I'm not sure I could sign up for a third go through. I was happy with where they left the story in the original. I did not mind the story in Part II but I did not think Ellie's character arc fit with the story told so far. Avoiding spoilers I'll say that I did not think her motivations toward the back ened of Part II fit for my expectations.
I enjoyed the original Last of Us a lot. I played through it twice (PS3 and PS4), and was satisfied with its conclusion. Felt like a single experience to me.
Hello everyone, I finally jumped back into gaming this week by playing the latest Prince of Persia. I was lukewarm on this initially but now that things are opening up, I'm really enjoying it a lot. Its been a while since I've played a Metroidvania this good.
I didn't like the direction that part 2 took with the story at all. It left a bad taste in my mouth since it was so grim, even by the first game's standards.
Hanging yourself by a tree branch above a bonfire is pretty creative. A dude that worked for my company did that about 30 years ago. I cannot remember if he shot himself in addition to the hanging...
Apparently a thoroughly good game (latest PoP).
If you stopped playing Ace Attorney after the OG trilogy, boy do you have a lot of great stuff to look forward too.
Spirit of Justice is a particular high point, you even bring about a revolution in a foreign country.
3 of the episodes are linked and the last case is quite epic.
Now I have the dlc to play.
Also completed Myth Seekers 2, an Artifex Mundi game.
These games have great potential. Ut they often let you down on the story. A lot of it is so vague and told through short exposition that by the end you forget what you're even doing.
Some God did what and now you need an amulet from your uncles friend in Paris?
So I went ahead and ordered this keychain because why not? This thing is heavy! It's half inch thick and mostly metal. Feels like it was removed from a real arcade machine. It's way too heavy to carry around with me so I have it on my desk at work. I really like it.
He's not wrong:
Nagoshi says, "I think that the number of console games in the lives of ordinary game fans may be a little excessive"
That's cool.
