Just been playing some Death Stranding 2 this weekend. Am quite enjoying it so far.
Played so much DS2, great game, very similar to the first and MUCH easier even on brutal. The world is much more forgiving, its clearly streamlined to be less stressful, but that was part of the enjoyment of the first game, getting into bad situations. That said the combat is much improved and the design of enemy bases and variety in missions is great. The first fight against fake Snake was incredible, MGSV like (though not as good). There is a lot to like, some feels like a tiny step back but still a blast.
They'll probably go the route they did with Chris in RE7 and 8. He'll have a small segment in the end or post-game where he'll basically come in overpowered and kick everything's ass.
I’m thinking that he’ll be more involved then that. I think they’re doing a “reverse Metal Gear Solid 2” here. Showing the new girl in the trailers and demo making people think that you’ll play most of the game as her instead having most of the game played as Leon.
He will have a bigger role than Chris did in 7 and 8, it should be a split game. Probably more like CV.

From more than one source this is what I have heard as well. Two protagonists. Which in a single player campaign, it's not something I want in every game, but if correctly directed is a good direcotrial and gameplay choice.
So Nintendo is raising the prices on all Switch 1 hardware, accessories, games (both digital and physical), and Nintendo Switch Online here in Canada. This doesn’t affect Switch 2 stuff. Not sure how much. They’ll give details August 1st.
What a joke. Why on earth? Has your new PM Mark Cerney imposed severe tarifs on Japan? That's fuktup.

It is indeed. Why is it all the Switch 1 stuff and why is the online service and digital games also increased. Curious to see their reasoning and how much the increases are on August 1st.
A theory I read is that it's a workaround to the financial uncertainty due to tarriffs. It easier to raise prices on Switch 1 rather than 2 and likely decrease demand for their newest console. I'm expecting something similar in the US.

When I go to NEOGAF I get nothing but ads for people with high IQ's looking to invest in real estate and for luxury automobiles.
I was unaware there were ads on the internet?
My internet is full of lingerie and expensive cars, but not ads for them.
I get hooker ads....I meant hookah!
