Ugh. I'm changing internet providers to get a better deal and unlimited internet, but of course the plug and play installation is not working. I've been on the phone with customer support trice already to no avail. They were going to call me back to plan for a technician to come by, but no call up till now. I'm calling them again in 15 minutes.
Also, everyone I've spoken to sounded suspiciously Surinamese so I'm guessing customer support has been outsourced. I'm usually pissed even when I get to speak to someone in the Netherlands.
I really wanted to like Chibi Robo but I just couldn't get into it.
The first time I played it, I enjoyed it. The next time I played it, I just kept thinking to myself, "if I'm going to be doing housework shouldn't I be doing my own actual housework?"
I think it's one of those games that you have to be in the right frame of mind to play. It's possibly better when you're living by yourself and the only things you own are a futon and a TV.

That's horrible.
A friend had spotty connection for years, the only way he fixed it was by going fibre.

They're sending a technician by on Thursday. That's 4 days without internet, which I use for business purposes. Good thing I can hotspot through my phone so I can at least answer mails and visit theVGPress.
Watch as the technician will not be able to solve it either.
It was the early days of the first PlayStation, and Kazunori Yamauchi was working on the very first Gran Turismo. You’ll remember that on the cover it said that the game was the “real driving simulator”. And you know, I’m not a game designer, I’m a producer first and foremost. During development, Kazunori Yamauchi showed me a prototype of Gran Turismo, and I was among the first to play it. And to tell you the truth, he was really serious when he talked about simulation (laughs)!
It was extremely advanced, perhaps too much so. But at first Kazunori Yamauchi didn’t take my feedback at face value, so he gathered around thirty consumers to test the game. And just as I expected, they all crashed without exception at the first turn, because the gameplay was so difficult. I was at the back of the room with Kazunori Yamauchi, at which point he turned to me and told me I was right, and that’s when he rounded things off and toned down the pure simulation aspect a little to put out the Gran Turismo you know today on PS1.
In a way, I like to think that I partly saved Gran Turismo’s fate, and that I played a small part in its success (laughs)!
It's that perfect balance between simulation and arcade that still makes Gran Turismo so much fun to play.
It's a free upgrade if you own the ultimate edition.
Only if you bought the digital version before May 5th 2025. Unfortunately I have the physical version. I do have Game Pass though so I can certainly play it there.

You can. Do this to your joycons without having to disassemble everything.
BTW, who's pre-ordered Switch 2 here? It's out in 4 weeks.
Travo, Dvader, me.
Anyone else?

Says some youtube influencer. Quite the relevent nuance there.
It's cheap too.

I BELIEVE! I BELIEVE! ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY VALVE!
