I'm killing time at Target as my kid does his school shopping, and it is remarkable. What a wasteland the gaming section has become here. The Switch library is still pretty strong. There's probably 70 to 80 titles available here. Pretty good. Hell, that might even be more than GameStop has these days.
For Xbox and Playstation it's a lot sadder. There's a total of 16 Xbox titles on the shelf. Playstation isn't much better. There's a little over 30 titles, but there's also some overlap between PS4 and PS5 titles.
The digital future is indeed here.
Kind of the same over here at my local Walmart. Very sad to see.
Yeah, I first noticed it in my area shortly after last Christmas that they weren't restocking the Xbox and PS games much.
The Walmart equivelent here is still stocked "okay" but they've always had a crap selection. Target and Kmart however have pretty strong libraries for everything. I guess once internet speeds pick up down here that will change though.
The Gamestop equivelent is basically a toy/ junk store.
Thank Goodness Your'e here - beaten (now watching my daughter play through it for herself)
Plague Tale Innocence
American Pro Trucker - delivered some airplance parts from the Lort of Long Beach to Oxnard. Not really ideal for TV gaming, requires just a bit too much keyboard.
Pacman Championship 1 & 2 with my daughter (proud to say she's getting pretty darn good)

That's what Gamestop here is, at least the one closest to me. You'll have better luck finding a Funko Pop or a T-shirt of the game you're looking for, rather than the game itself. Hell they've rearranged things so that the front quarter of the store doesn't have anything in it at all.
I am enjoying Final Fantasy SEX-teen so much more than Final Fantasy: Frat Bros! It's pretty serious story-wise but soooo much less depressing than 15. It could be because I appreciate the fantasy setting with Crystals and Kingdoms, more than road-trips and emo Princes...
It could also be that I one day hope to be the meat in a Clive and Cid sandwich... and with Ben Starr, there's a pretty high probability that could happen!
I forgot 16 even came out (as in, was released Leo).
I always disable music in classic Doom. Same with the remaster. More atmospheric.
Performance or graphics? Graphics for me. 4K RT.
For the hundreds of times I've played the original I too turned the music off back in the day. I am enjoying listening to the new takes on the old tunes though. I must have played more Doom thatn anything else in my life, now I reflect on it. It's be up there with the various versions of Sim City that's for sure (in terms of hours played).
Since I let my Game Pass expire, I subscribed to Ubisoft Plus. I should be able to play Star Wars Outlaws without breaking the bank and play quite a few Ubisoft games that I've missed or haven't played in quite a while. I downloaded Beyond Good and Evil in 4k.

Ubisoft Plus? I didn't know they had a similar service. I think EA does as well but I never looked into it.
Yes! Yes! Yes!
Awesome match. Bryan Danielson isn’t ready to go off and be a family man just yet.

They're pretty good on the whole with the exception of pre-bomb injury Apollo Justice. His face is all wrong and he's so low detail, it's horrible.
An Indie direct, followed by a Partner Direct. 40 mins total.
Looks like they're clearing the shelf before Switch 2 gets announced next month.
Not sure what to expect from the Nintendo Direct tomorrow but hopefully there’ll be a nice surprise or two in there.
Endless Ocean 3 dlc.

R.I.P.. Sid Vicious.

Oh man. Ol' Psycho Sid.

The EA one was included with Game Pass Ultimate, I think.
I also spotted the latest Prince of Persia game, always a fun time.
