Glad they're useful. The xbox leak sounds more insane the more I read.
It's all old news. So much has changed.
There you go. Straight from the horse’s mouth.
They're releasing an Apollo Justice HD trilogy of the DS game then the two 3ds games.
I bought Spirit of Justice for full price when the 3ds shop was dying. Now there's a Remake.

22.09.23 - Press launch conducted an interview with producer Yoshinori Kitase and director Naoki Hamaguchi of Square Enix for the role-playing game Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The most important statements at a glance: - The developers have taken the world map from the original Final Fantasy VII (PS), but created it on a real scale of 1:
1. That is, all dungeons, all cities, everything in this world is now included in the same area. It's a seamless map.
- In Rebirth, it won't be the case that the entire game world is completely open and can be fully explored from the start. Rather, the player starts in a fairly large, extensive area. He can explore this area. As the story progresses, you'll gain more skills to be able to enter more areas.
So more and more areas open up and the world grows and grows, until in the end the whole world is open to you.
- Players can then return to previously explored areas and find new quests or new content that has been activated due to the progression of the story.
- The part of the Final Fantasy VII story told in Rebirth extends to the "Forgotten Capital". There are some locations and scenes between the end of Midgard and reaching the "Forgotten Capital" that are not included in Rebirth and were instead saved for the third game in the trilogy. That said, there are some things that players shouldn't expect to see in Rebirth, as they won't appear until later in the series.
They're quite masterful and maddeningly annoying at times in how they talk around the subject for ages before telling you something that could have taken less than a minute.
However when bored it's not bad to listen like a podcast while doing something else.
Anyhow there's a lot of Switch 2 rumours going around, and the YouTubers actually seem to be more engaged around the subject compared to the general press.
Last night there was some weird stuff going on that was highlighted by YouTube and a lot of it does seem weird.
What they are saying is that Switch 2 may be unveiled late October.
So first you have Nate the Hate whose sources are saying Nintendo kept mentioning March 24 at Gamescon, though reveal or release wasn't clarified. Sources did say Nintendo were eager to launch sooner rather than later.
Anyhow this year Nintendo is releasing Switch bundles early in October when it's normally November.
Then there's this dude who religiously tracks amiibo releases and they always happen around announcements of software, hardware or re-releases.
He's found a lot of amiibo restocks around November 10th.
For Mario Zelda and Metroid. People have also been looking to the timeframes of Switch 1s reveal and release. They found it was revealed shortly before Nintendos usual financial statement early November.
Then Capcom says it has a game that will sell millions scheduled for March 24 and they still haven't announced it at tgs. It coincides with Monster Hunters anniversary. People are speculating its a Switch 2 game.
Then Nintendo in the middle of the night revealed it has scheduled a sudden spate of Nintendo Live events at weird dates it has never used before. Some of which are timed for November and early January too.
So people are speculating that it may release like Switch 1, in March next year and be revealed this year.

Why the fuck are the werewolves so bullet spongy at the start of RE Village on hard? Could they really not come up with a more nuanced way to make it difficult? It just makes things feel like a chore, rather than a challenge. 2 head shots to kill with the shotgun unless you get a random crit, and blowing them up doesn't even necessarily kill them instantly. Really? It removes all the satisfaction from the weapons, as well. And the environment also just feels eh; the balance between funnels and open areas doesn't really seem to affect how the enemies behave much (you can just as easily herd them together out in the open as you can between a wall and a house) and it doesn't seem like it has the same detail of RE4 so far, which it's riffing on way, way too much. I hope things improve soon, because so far I'm not really feeling it.
At times it plays like Serious Sam, except at a quarter of the speed and without any of its satisfaction. But I expect much more from the combat scenarios than I do from Serious Sam.

I like to watch Spawn Wave on YouTube for my gaming news. Talks about a bunch of topics each day with typically a bigger focus of three top topics in his video.
Think I seen him. Bearded guy?
They all have beards though lol
Yeah, the one with the beard.
Yeah he regularly puts up a news video every Monday to Friday at the same time.
He also does videos where he takes apart systems and controllers to look at what’s inside and/or to fix potential problems with them or clean them. Those are pretty good to watch as well. Think he use to work at some place where this was part of his job there.
