Boys I will see you in a couple days. I'm heading for an extended weekend in New York city. And of course I will make my pilgrimage to the world of Nintendo store.
Have a great trip and say hello to Shigeru Miyamoto for me. Also ask him how things are progressing with StarTropics 3.
Ugh. I've only been to New York city once, and it was like 2 months before the Nintendo Store opened. What a waste of a good trip.
It's been 20 years since I've been to NYC, so I don't even think it was a thought back then. Anyway, I'm looking forward to buying something at full retail price from there.
The Nintendo New York store had a few good models, otherwise boring.
Crysis is getting fun, but I wish you could always keep a sniper rifle on hand. Instead of pistols which I never use, I can only have two, 2 handed like weapons. Game is fun, I like how it is more open. But the environment is very one note to look at. Still haven't killed a single alien yet.
The North Korean accents sound terrible, like borderline racist or just plain stupid.
I downloaded The Master Chief Collection last night. I played through the first couple levels of Halo 1. To my surprise, I much prefer the original Xbox's graphics over the remastered. I'm glad we have the option.
It really sucks that there's no option to download each game individually, though. I had to download all four games (113GB) before I could start play Halo 1, which is BS. Reach and ODST were the only games in that collection that are optional downloads.

Yeah that would be a pretty nice thing to be able to do. It is a pretty hefty download otherwise.

NYC is always a good time, enjoy.
So I got Returnal, fun game that a great challenge. There is so much to collect, so many new items and upgrades on each run it keeps things fresh. I wish the levels were more interesting though.
I've enjoyed Crysis so far but inside the alien ship is damned annoying. No radar, everything too dark. Pair that with 360 no gravity movement and aliens that can 1 or 2 hit kill you.
I've been playing Civ 6 (Switch) this weekend. Or mostly trying to figure it out anyway. I've never played a Civ game before, and there are so many things to consider, it's a bit overwhelming. I am having fun with it, though. It's interesting to learn to play something completely new for a change.
Crysis took a funny turn. It's open world military shooter with some super powers. Then zero gravity alien ship. Then escape with flying squids. Now interior battleship locations.
I like the diversity but it's hurting its consistency so far.
The final battle (what I assume to be the final battle) is pure bullshit. A special gun that doesn't work unless you stand in the open and it takes an age to lock on. No proper cover.
A huge boss, flanked by multiple enemies who fly over your head at all times buzzing directions every 2 seconds. Then an ice cannon that freezes you every second and when you break free the screen is covered in white. And your often left with your viewpoint facing the floor or sky.
And to top it off your invisibility suddenly doesn't work so you can even cloak and lock on. Pile of shit ending.
This weekend I played a ton of Halo Infinite multiplayer. I've always been very meh towards this series so I'm not sure why I'm loving this so much. The multiplayer is damn fun and I've put about twenty hours into it so far and am very much looking forward to playing the campaign. Unfortunately, I wont have much time to play, but for once, I'm hyped for Halo.

Great! Now you can join us for multiplayer!
I only downloaded the single player campaign.

The first is one of my favourite games on switch. I'd definitely check it out guys. So many hilarious moments.
I'll try to get in a game with you guys if I'm ever on.

It's wearing thin.

Yeah, that final boss in Crysis sucked. On PS3 it also ran with a bad framerate too. I still don't know how I beat it, lol.
