I am super excited for The Batman.  It's even releasing sooner than I anticipated.

I was not aware of what t'hat was, like a game or movie etc... I found this entry in wikipedia funny,

"Ben Affleck, who portrayed Batman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU), was set to direct, produce, co-write, and star in The Batman in 2014, but in 2017 he chose not to direct due to his dissatisfaction with his own script"

The Batman really doesn't do much for me. It just feels like I've seen that movie before, whatever they end up doing with it. I'm still a little sad that Ben Affleck walked away. I think the older aging Batman opened up some more interesting storylines, rather than a return to a younger dark and brooding Batman.

So, does anyone have any thoughts on the Uncharted movie trailer? It doesn't look as terrible as I initially expected, but a February release almost guarantees that it's going to be crap. It is extremely rare for anything good to be released in February.

More than anything, I just can't quite come to grips with the casting. Tom Holland is not Nathan drake. And Mark Wahlberg is completely not Sully. I mean, the dude couldn't even grow mustache. That's just wrong.

Those actors playing with those characters doesn't work for me at all.

Haven’t checked out the Uncharted trailer yet but saw a pick of Tom Holland and Mark Whalberg in their respective character roles and don’t think it really works for me either.

Somehow accrued 5.5 hours playing final fantasy 2 on SNES (original cart and console) this week.  Comfort food.

With Banjo-Kazooie announced for the Switch Online Expansion Pak, it makes me wonder if Microsoft would ever port Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts to the Switch? Would it sell better on a Nintendo platform? We'll probably never know, but I'd certainly buy it if they did.

RE4 VR came out last night and HOOOOOOOLLLLY SHIIIIIIIT

It's incredible!!!! So intense, being inside that world! That village sequence was nuts, even though you can run around and shoot it's something else with you needing to aim and shoot and when you hear that click and you need to manually reload but a chainsaw guy is coming at you ahhhh! It all works so well, the action is just incredible. Guns feel different when you have to physically pump them, adds a whole layer to the combat.

There are some concessions they made. All cutscenes just stick you in limbo while you watch a screen. The melee attacks take you out of first person and into third. Same with QTEs that have you swinging your arms wildly. The world isn't all that interactive, in most VR games you can interact with objects, here your hands just clip through most everything but a few cabinets you can now open. I get why it’s like that, they couldn’t remake the game entirely, it’s still RE4, what matters is the combat works in VR and it does!

This most likely will be my favorite VR experience.

Yeah the casting is poor. Wahlberg is just playing himself. Holland is too boyish, doesn't fit the character. It's clearly taking scenes from U3 and 4, I doubt it will be coherent as they will just paste random stuff from the games. It could still be a fun movie though.

Going to see Dune tonight, woo!

GTA remasters look great, graphically better than I thought, $60 is steep but it's three all time greats. I'm in.

I'm posting a review for Bowser's Fury which was just awesome!

I hope it's good. I'm 220 pages from finishing the novel. I'll watch the film after.

Are they only selling it as a trilogy? Honestly, the only one I want is vice city.

I don't  think so.  I think the plan is to tease people by only allowing San Andreas then they buy the rest. I'm totally fine with SA to be honest.

No, on second thought I think it is sold altogether because people have complained about the $60 price tag.

Yeah, GTA Remasters are all 3 for $60 but I read you can download the games individually.
