You still need to have the game disk in the drive to play the game. It does a DRM check with the disk before running the game.
Worth it?
I only played FarCry 4 but I did really enjoy it.
Congratulations, you are about halfway done. The game is divided into three segments with the final one being optional, but not really. The third segment isn't like an additional bonus chapter or anything. It's still is a full-fledged part of the game and ultimately answers a lot of questions and mysteries that you'll come across.
The good news is each segment is slightly shorter than the previous ones, so if the first one took you 50 hours, the second segment will take you around 30 or 35 and the final will take you about 20 to 25. At least those were the numbers for the original version of the game. The special edition has more content that may bump that up another 20 hours total.
You'll want to do it though. The game has maybe the best thing I've ever come across and you'll want to experience it for yourself.
If anything, I think I got more use out of the GBA player for it. And to be fair, that thing was so awesome it pretty much justified the console's existence for me.
Only halfway? Damn.
My time played is currently around 80 hours but I can be a pretty slow player. Anyway I totally love this game so far and am definitely going to play every part of it fully. This is probably my most favourite game in the series with DQVIII being my second one.
Also tried Body count, again. Im not sure I can play dual analogue fps anymore. I don't get why Halo feels fine but everything else feels too slow and janky.
Horace is such a weird game at times. At its core its a Mario like platformer with heavy emphasis on cutscenes and sometimes timed 1 hit sections. On the other hand there are light exploration elements, rhythm games. Boss fights with huge robots, working jobs to earn cash. Riding the train to different destinations. Then there are these tributes to classic games like Doom, I just played, multiple SEGA and arcade games.
Then I entered this building based on Alice in Wonderland and every room is this bizaare mix of different elements. I just ran away from a giant Cheshire cat whilst running around a Sonic the Hedgehog inspired level.
It's a good game, but all these disparate elements make the game feel like it sometimes has an identity crisis-and yet, its very own HORACE like identity.
What's this about?
Why do t you just download it?
