Public service, if you have amazon prime you can get a year of Nintendo online for free. Sign up for Twitch Prime which is free if you have Amazon Prime, you should have done this already as they give away free games every month. This month they have 3 months of Nintendo online for free that becomes 9 more months if you stay a prime member for 2 months. This adds onto whatever you have currently.
I went to sign up for this only to discover my son broke my new joycon then tried to hide it.
Its crazy there is no KOTOR remaster. Is it because of the MMO? Bioware needs good will drastically. Something like that would remind people why we loved them in the first place.
I wonder if anybody even still works at Bioware from that team way back in 2003. I doubt it. They're the North American Rareware.
I got my 8bitdo SNES Bluetooth gamepad with USB dongle to work with my Switch. Playing Switch SNES games with a SNES pad feels much better. 👍
How do I do this?
I have an older 8bitdo SNES pad (without sticks) that requires a separately purchased USB dongle for wireless on PC and Switch. I does work wired by itself via a USB cable. However, my understanding is that newer 8bitdo pads work wireless with Switch out of the box; no dongle requried. Amazon has all this stuff.
You guys know I'm not a big NES fan but I am a big SNES fan. So it was supremely cool to log on to my switch online and spot all the games that Nintendo has given us to play for free. Especially given that we had to buy them individually on the Wii for a fairly high cost. It feels particularly good that I can also play them portably whenever I want them wherever I want. And they have online modes too.
Vader! Thoughts on Brady throwing to Antonio Brown this season?
Saw that coming a mile away, once again Belichick outsmarts the league. Instant super bowl win.
What's funny is I see so many people who are understandably sick of the Patriots, but for me I think back to being a kid when, at that time, they were fucking TERRIBLE. And it really wasn't that long ago.
In the 80's and early 90's they were pretty much the laughing stock of the NFL, and of New England pro sports as a whole. Then they got Drew Bledsoe & Bill Parcels, and began to get slowly respectable. Now there's an entire generation in their 20's who view them as basically the Yankees of the NFL. It's bizarre.

While there are a few NES games that I don’t mind playing again, hello StarTropics, the SNES is easily my favourite console to go back and play many of its games again. It is great to see some of those games on the Switch now through their online service I do very much wish that these were available to purchase separately. I’d rather just pay once for a game and have it available to play anytime instead of needing to subscribe to a service where you need to keep paying.
Anyway I’m really hoping that we see a lot more great SNES games make their way to the service. Most anything from Nintendo, Capcom, Square-Enix, and Konami was godly back then.

It's funny, I was hanging out on Reddit yesterday is all the AB news was happening. In the morning everybody was making jokes and memes about the Patriots picking him up, and then at the end of the day when it happened there was so many people's minds just completely blown.
And the quote that summed up all of it best was, "I liked this better when it was just a meme."
anyway, if Brady stays healthy, they have another super bowl. And I would not be shocked if Gronk unretires somewhere around week 6 or 7.
On a more gaming related note, I've been playing Breathe of the Wild exclusively for the past week now. It's interesting, the hardest part of this game is staying on track and not going out of your way to explore. After about 25 hours or so, I've freed up the first Divine beast, the elephant thing, but that's really the only big accomplishment I've made. Everything else is just finding a shrine or a tower, or maybe tackling a few side quests.
Don't get me wrong, I love it too. I like having a gold mind, getting distracted by something that glowsand then wander off in that direction until I don't remember what the hell I was doing. I'm just impressed that they managed to make that so satisfying.
I know Borderlands 3 is coming soon and I’m hyped but don’t count on me to get it day one. I’ve had a financial setback this month. . Maybe the following week. I don’t plan to miss out for long since Borderlands 2 is some of the best fun I’ve had with multiplayer.

That 2nd video looks like what the N64 controller should have been. Or at least a mid-generation refresh after the Dual Shock came out.

I loved getting sidetracked. It’s one of the best parts of the game. I believe it took forever for me to finish a divine beast as well.
This weekend I played some Uncharted 4 multiplayer and a good bit of Super Mario World.
