2:41am and motherfuckers are still lighting firecrackers on my street. Argh!

They stopped lighting firecrackers at midnight. What you heard were the opening shots from the Trump Civil war. It's called the War of Good and Fine People on both Sides.

Any PS4 players want to try out some MHW later this evening?

I should be around this weekend if you want to play.

All righty. Just send a message here or text me. So long as I'm not drunk and passed out on the floor I should be around.

Jeez, I've been playing Salmon run a lot in Splatoon 2. Got real acquainted with the Ballpoint Splatling. My main is the regular Splatling with sprinkler sub. So I started experimenting with the Ballpoint. Whoa, it charges as fast as the regular Splatling, yet its range is the same as the Hydra Splatling. Whilst holding a charge you can still move about about 4 times as fast as the regular Splatling. You can also cancel your shot. And you can throw those toxic clouds to bottleneck areas and hold back enemies.

Also if you briefly hold down the fire button and release you get a long length short burst of ink so you can rush to the front lines like a machine gun. Why does no one use this weapon??

Sorry, Robio, I spent too much time at the lake and I don’t think I’m able to do any MH tonight.  Maybe tomorrow evening.

Hilarious I played on the roof of Sheldon institutes and there was someone with a Hydra splatling on the opposite side of the map trying to shoot me. He didn't realise that I had the same range as him using the ballpoint splatling. But I could charge and move twice as fast as him. He kept coming back for more and died a lot. Meanwhile because I was so fast I can actually shoot through the holes, through the top of the roof. BTW the redesigned Piranha Pit map is a cesspit. Wtf have they done here? Moving belt ramps that now lead nowhere and that are positioned to awkwardly block off the flow of play.

I love how you find multiplayer to be so replayable.  As a guy who can’t quit Uncharted 4 multiplayer, I sympathize.

So this past week, I finished up Bulletstorm and played a ton of Uncharted multiplayer.  What about you guys?

Lots of Monster Hunter World, but I also started Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. It's the one handheld Castlevania that I never finished. At the time I couldn't get into it but I attributed that to franchise fatigue. this time around, I've gotten further, and I'm enjoying it a little bit more, but I have to say I definitely don't like it as much as past installments in the series. Something about it just isn't connecting with me.

Beat Zelda. I tried to do as much as I could handle before finishing the game, and by doing so kind of burned out on it which is common for these giant open world games. The divine beasts and the last boss were awesome, but overall I thought it was slightly boring and repetitive. I'm really hoping they focus the game more in the new Zelda and don't completely copy the open world aspect. Would honestly rather have a tighter, more linear game.

Funny, I said the exact same thing about Witcher 3 compared to the more linear Witcher 2.

I've been working my way thought the story mode of Super Mario Maker 2. I'm not enjoying it as much as a traditional Super Mario Bros. game, but it is fun to see some of these non-tradional Super Mario levels. Playing this game really makes me want to go back and replay all of the older Super Mario games again as the nostalgia is very strong with this one..

I've also been playing Donkey Kong arcade and Virtua Racing

I've nearly finished Minerva's Den. It took several hours to stop it from crashing regularly, or whenever I saved. That's even worse than the other Fullbright games! (But in this case it's not their fault; it's 2K Marin/Australia's.) So far I haven't really found the story particularly interesting, but it's probably the most detailed Bioshock setting, and Bioshock 2's base gameplay is by far the best in the series. I may have said Infinite was in the past, but returning to this which has Infinite level encounter design (a step down from 2, on a similiar level to Infinite, just on a smaller scale), and 2 is way more dynamic and flexible, even if the combinations are simpler. Yes, it's more dynamic even though you're a big daddy and don't have ziplines. lol.

Just finished Bloodstained as well.

Pretty awesome Castlevania clone. Long game, took me 20 hours to finish & the bosses can be a bit frustrating. Great visuals, fluid game play. Still would have preferred this to be Symphony of the Night 2, but hey I'll take it.
