Which was edited out due to timing, but I'll make good next episode.
That's actually pretty cool. At least this version won't be gimped with the dumb ass GBA connectivity shit the Cube version had. I'll buy it.
I never did get around to playing Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles when it came out. I may check it out this time around, or maybe not.
If the game had a godamn map it would have been better. It was an okay game but I wouldn't re-buy it.
Couldn't finish updates. Netflix was draining my net speed too much
edit - done
I have a feeling the new Tomb Raider is going to runneth my cup over in terms of the style of the past three games. I'd really like to see them go back to building on the style of Legend and Underworld, which were built upon the style of the PS1 games. Maybe time to put College Commando Croft to bed and bring back the Sultry Sophisticated Sleazy Croft.

Must watch
I thought this 'trilogy' would be kind of an origins story of how Lara Croft became who she was when she was first created? From what I've read so far, not much has hapened in terms of character development over he course of these last 3 games?
Her character and the gameplay have really nothing in common at all with the older games. Legend and Underworld very closely followed the old TR template, just adding in modern controls like Core Design failed to do on their last few games. The newer games though are a COMPLETE reboot to the point where it's like a different IP.
I myself like the newer games. TR2013 was fantastic, Rise was still great but not as memorable and they also took the gameplay waaaay too far over to the action side. Fucking waves of guys coming at you, tossing grenades every two seconds like it's Call of Duty...just stop with that. But I'd still prefer TR to go back to its roots as an exploration game with neat puzzles and the FEAR of the occasional beast or person to fight. It's a similar issue to what happened with RE5 and RE6.
Just learned that the guys behind that Polymega system that plays everything from the PS1 era and back, were Insomniac Games guys who worked on Ratchet and Clank. Shit, that makes me even more interested in it and a bit more confident they can pull this off.
I just found out that there is a Splatoon dance party going on in a bar near me.
One of the site's forefathers.
Play fighting games!
That there hurricane seems to be pretty serious. You guys who live near to where it might pass, stay safe.
