I'l asking because I prefer owning a physical copy, but if the game needs a dowbload to work anyway, there's no point in bothering with tracking the games down.

Xbox One backwards compatibility downloads the entire game from the internet. The disc is just used to check for the security code to make sure you have a legitimate copy of the game.

I don’t have an Xbox One X myself but I’m pretty sure that the X automatically provides a boost to any game regardless of a 4K patch or not. This includes any backwards compatible game from the original Xbox and 360.

Mass Effect Andromeda and Titanfall 2 are both really good gets for their cheap prices. Titanfall 2 is currently going for $6 US in the Microsoft Spring sale event on XBL Marketplace.
Had my first proper switch experience out in the wild with my nephew. We played tabletop mode Mario Kart 8, his first time playing it. He was pretty good, rarely went off road and he loved it.
Thanks for the tip, although it's €10 when you don't have XBL Gold. I think I'll get that Gold deal of 3 months for €8, play the witness while it's free, get MHW to play online for a couple of months and shop around for some good deals. I'll have a sizeable backlog in no time and for near to no money as well.
Browsing through lists of Xbox games just goes to show how violent and boring 'mainstream' gaming is to me though. It's all burly men looking angry and things going very fast.
