Well, splatoon is less than a month off. I'm going to go out on one limb here and say that we'll probably run into eachother more than once.
You're going to go down like the Titanic
Yeah, I saw Leo playing Mario Kart last night, so I tried to either join him or invite him to play. The only thing was I couldn't find him on my friends list when he was clearly online.
Will you be getting Splatoon2 Travo? I can't seem to recall if you played the original or not.
Absolutely, the whole family loved the original.

It think it just lists you as online, even when you aren't actually playing online in a joinable mode. Like even people playing Breath of the Wild are listed as online.
Sup, GG?
I saw you online, playing Snake Pass. How is it?
I've only played one level but pretty fun. Simple yet fun.
Since Nintendo finally got off their ass and decided to make some real Metroid games again (or at least outsource them to worthy studios) I got inspired to finally start playing Metroid Fusion on the Wii U.
Man, this game is fucking badass. It really is the best old school Metroid sidescroller. Super Metroid was amazing in 1994 obviously, but Fusion is a big improvement. If Fusion would have been a second Metroid on the Snes that came out a year after Super in 1995...people would have lost their fucking shit.
Also fucked with StarDew Valley a bit...I can see this game being really addicting. Like, REALLY addicting. It's like a cross between Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing and maybe Actraiser. Again, if this had come out back in the Snes days, shit would have been lost.
I played Snake Pass for all of 5 minutes before turning it off - because the rumble is insane, buzzing the joycons unnaturally. I knew it had this rumble bug day 1 and a subsequent patch was suppossed to fix it ages ago. Why is it still there? I tried looking for an update but it said I had the latest version. I hope I can turn off the rumble.
I only played it offscreen, and it was obviously sub-HD on the Switch pad screen. Looks bad to me, image quality wise. I know that the game's snake physics are quite intensive and not even the PS4 Pro verison runs well, not even the PS4 normal version runs at below 1080p and no version can acheive 60FPS. But after playing MK8 and ARMs looking crisp as heck and running at a buttery smooth 60fps, seeing Snake Pass at sub-HD on the switch screen feels weird.
Great game, a little tough though. I preferred Zero Mission.
Might need to check this out.
https://mynintendonews.com/2017/06/23/snake-pass-update-has-broken-the-rumble-so-developers-looking-into-it/
I played some more today and don't believe I've had any issues with the rumble. Is it constantly rumbling during the game? Oh, I definitely agree about the visuals. It's a letdown after the crispness of Arms.
I tried out Abzu, great visuals, slight more gameplay than Journey. I got it free from PS Plus so I'm not too bothered by the lack of gameplay. It can be finished in under three hours.
AM2R is better than fusion IMO.
You know what sucks ass? Living in Florida with a broken air conditioner. I'm sitting in ball soup right now. Ughhhhh...
In other news I spent some time messing around with my Wii that I hacked a few years ago, and added the hard drive I had for the Wii U onto it. The program that allows you to use a harddive and install your discs onto it has got to be one of the most insanely intuitive dashboards I've ever seen. Why the hell don't any of the console makers have anything this good? Anyway I messed around with some games on that, and might just get suckered back into Kirby's Epic Yarn.... because you know.... Kirby fucking rules.
You could do the same thing with the original Xbox. It was fantastic.
AM2R is damn good I've played about half of it. I just like the style of Fusion...they were onto something here.
