Unannounced titles at e3?! That's unheard of!!!
I'm currently playing Specter of Torment it is really good.
I did like Plague of Shadows but I feel Specter Knight is more fun to play as.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
They announced a live action Teen Titans and Young Justice season 3? I didn't realise that show was still being made.
So it's been about 7 weeks since we had a new blog or review and it seems like people are a lot less active than usual. What's up?
I'm having a little buyers remorse on Lego City Switch. Another Digital Foundry fuck up.
They said it held up well, 1080p yada yada. Having now completed the main campaign again and broken back out into the open world, the framerate is consistently inconsistent. It just feels a bit unfinished. It's not drastically worse, usually floats between 26-30fps, some areas are worse then others. But overall, I wanted a comprehensively better version than the Wii U game and as it stands the technical inconsistencies just tarnish what is otherwise a fun time. If you want to get it, either wait for a switch patch which may never come or get it on PS4/XB1 I think.
I would prefer a resolution drop with a more stable framerate but they insist on a higher frame output on Switch than even the XB1 version. After Zelda's polish, this game is a bit jarring in terms of the Switch experience.
Young Justice was cancelled but fans wanted a 3rd season so much that they announced that it was happening back in November of last year.
But just a few days ago it was announced that Season 3 will be exclusively streamed on this one service that WB is creating just to put DC content on it.
That service doesn't have a name yet and wouldn't be released until 2018 but it is suppose to have all the DC movies and TV series.
SUPER MARIO MAKER LEVELS:
How was the U's frame rate?
Well I certainly didn't expect this. Nintendo is releasing a 2DS XL. It's basically the new 3DS XL but without the 3D. Has the same power, screen size, and clamshell design for $150. I have been interested in upgrading my current 3DS to the new 3DS XL but I may go for this cheaper option.
It goes on sale in July.
What do you really want out of a 5 year old Wii U port? With most remasters you take the good with the bad, especially when they're released on every machine known to man. Personally I wouldn't rebuy this game for a slight resolution or frame increase at the prices they're selling it for...it wasn't that good in the first place. Maybe when I can get it for $5 on Steam.
PS4 to hit 60m install base - SuperData
What happened to people claming just a year ago that the PS4 was on pace to "outsell" the PS2? Well, once they hit that 60 million they only need another 100 million on top of that....seems possible. If Sony never releases another console.
Isn't that like only $20 cheaper than the N3DSXL? The original 2ds was and is cobsiderably cheaper. If I were to spend that kind of money, I'd just get the full option one. It does look pretty sleek though.
Yeah it's not a whole lot cheaper. It'd probably be about $30 cheaper here in Canada. Here the New 3DS XL goes for $229 so I'm expecting this model to go for $199. I didn't care for the design of the 2DS myself though but I do like this one and the 3D effect has kind of worn off on me.
I'm still loving it. It makes every game pop just that bit more, making even the most basic mundane graphics come to life. Even if I wouldn't prefer the 3D, I think for $30 I'd just enjoy having the option available to me.
. But the switch frame rate is erratic to me. But having said that, playing in bed last night felt great. The smaller screen makes the frame rate less noticeable and having a handheld game with visuals that good was awesome.

Bah. Somewhere down the line, the internet decided I'm a French speaking Belgian. Half the sites I visit will automatically refert to French, when I go to the gas station and enter my card, it greats me in French, but worst of all: the Eshop's language isn't determined by your personal language choice on your Switch, but instead is governed by the oh so misguided internet. NON, JE NE VEUX PAS ACHETER 'MAGIO KAGT DALUXE'
I don't know. But hey, I'm still here.
I'm still here but I never posted any blogs or reviews.
