Does anybody here ever have problems with their tv automatically deciding to change your picture settings?
My Samsung does this from time to time...it pisses me off something fierce. I'm very particular with how I set my visuals, I have them set in a way that looks great no matter if I'm gaming, browsing the web, watching tv whatever. So when I see my shit has been changed it is fucking irritating. Just did it to me now...only thing I can figure is it seems to happen if I play around with my PC resolution or some other settings.
WSJ: Nintendo set to double Switch production From 8 million to 16 million year one. PS4 sold about 13.5 m year one.
Year one Switch would outsell Wii Us lifetime sales.
Samsung tvs are notorious with this kind of shit. And auto HDMI switching.
I have a Vizio but yes. Happened now and then with my Wii U but it seems to be a lot more frequent with my PS4.
They have great quality but I've noticed a few annoying thing's about the way they run. I don't think I'd buy another Sammy when I replace this one.
Another thing my Tv does once in awhile is the screen will go black for a few seconds and then pop back on. Not often, but it's happend to me in the middle of gaming or watching a hockey game and I'll be sitting here with my arms up like "WTF???"
The price we pay for modern tech I guess.
I love the job these guys are doing with these classic remasters.

Mass Effect Andromeda is Pre-Loading!!!!
CAN YOU FEEL IT?!?!?!
Are you precumming?
I have a Samsung and have never had this issue.
Well it sounds like I'll be getting the GTX 1080 Ti when I upgrade my PC early next year. I can't see needing much more than that for a GPU for a long, long time. Was thinking of getting the new AMD Ryzen CPU to go along with it but IDK...mixing the brands like that makes me worry about compatibility issues.

So I'll give just a quick rundown on all the different games I have going at the moment.
Zelda is my main game at the moment...hoping to have it done before Mass Effect next Wednesday but that's not going to happen. Amazing stuff...the kind of stuff I wish I saw more from Nintendo. Look what these assholes can do when they actually come out of their bubble and take hints from the rest of the talent in the industry. Best Zelda since Ocarina and Majora....it takes a big flaming dump on Skyward Sword.
The remaster of Turok 2 just came out and I put it on just wanting to check out the opening to see how it ran....well I ended up playing it for 3 hours. The memories instantly came rushing back. This is a great port by the portmasters at Nightdive Studios. Widescreen, Xbox controls, 60 fps, smooth as butter. What struck me was firstly, this game was soooo much better than the original. The gameplay and tech leaps back then in the 90's were so huge from game to game..I really miss that. The 90's were to gaming what the 70's were to hard rock....just innovation and revolutionary shit around every corner. Secondly, holy shit the levels in this game are HUUUUGE. I mean how did they fit this shit on an N64 cart???? The first level alone, Port of Adia, is the size of half of the new Call of Duty campaign. I'm not joking.
I'm very early on in this one, but so far I'm not really feeling it as much as the first two games? It feels a bit generic, aiming is kind of iffy, and jesus christ the difficulty is annoying as all hell. Maybe it will get better but so far this is probably my least favorite Rockstar title in a long time.
I figured I should finally play this one before GOW PS4 hits, so yeah. Not too far into this one either, but it's good so far. The gameplay is basically exactly the same as GOW 3 so it's fast and smooth, but I'm definitely feeling the "too much of the same" thing going on here. So glad they're doing something different with the new one.
Another game I've wanted to play for years but kept putting it off. I remember Leo talking a lot about this one...I wish I had played it sooner, it's damn good. Like, really damn good. It's kind of in the vein of Zelda and Fable with a huge overworld, very bright and colorful visuals, great character designs, and a large quest. Unfortunately it's once again going on the backburner thanks to Zelda and Mass Effect...but once they're done I'm going right back to it.
After playing Battlefield 1, Modern Warfare Remastered, and Infinite Warfare I said to myself, why stop now? So I began Battlefield 4. It's OK, but B1 was much better, as was COD for this type of game. This one harkens back to 2010 game design of lots of flash, with little freedom or control. The visuals are great but it doesn't stand out in any way, the controls feel a little sluggish compared to B1 or Infinite Warfare...and I've seen my squardmates do some stupid, stupid shit. Like, stand there while enemies run right past them and not do a fucking thing.
This game was sitting in my PS4 library for ever, so I said hey, why not? Not much I can really say so far other than it feels like Infamous on PS3 but with some really pretty visuals and effects.
Well that's about it. I have a few other games that I'm dabbling in just a little here and there, such as Half Life 2, Forza 5, Bioshock Remastered, Mass Effect 1, Metroid 2 remake, and Asura's Wrath. But that should be enough for now.
