To even be interested in Yooka Laylee was a mistake to begin with, regardless of platform.
This is the most truthful statement on the matter.
You guys are so mean!

It's a really good game. Right up there with The Thousand Year Door.
When I first started playing I was like, how the f*** does it take Intelligent Systems like 4 years to get this game out. And then like the game unfolds as a full fat RPG, I'm well over 30 hours in and its still going. Really high quality and lovingly made too - you can tell the affection the devs have for the universe they are creating. In some ways it feels fresher than any of the other Mario projects of recent years, including 3DWorld and of course NSMB.
So funny too.
The special attacks are awesome:
So many memorable moments. I'll never forget the stage show musical in the park. Or the Haunted mansion time loop. Graphics are beatiful too, ignore these low quality pics. In HD the art just pops, looks real even. And by real I mean it looks like it's a little cardboard diahorama.
Music is amazing, probably the best soundtrack I've heard in the past few years.
Well now that is a must get.
Only system I can compare the Wii U to would be the Dreamcast, as far as dropped support goes. Dreamcast had a lot more 3rd-party support than Wii U, but as soon as SEGA pulled the plug on it literally like a year's worth of badass games that were in development got switched over to the Playstation 2. The PS2 reaped the benefits with an incredible second half of 2001.
Remember these guys
R.I.P. Alan Thicke.
Spot on Paper Mario impressions, GG. I loved when I cleaned up the fountain area and overheard two shy guys talking about gentrification. This game is a gem. I'm back in the saddle and about to take on Larry on the Sunset Express.
I saw that this morning. RIP

PSA: The digital version of Lost Odyssey is currently being offered for free so those with an Xbox 360 or Xbox One should download load it asap.

Well that's a peach of a deal. Got to get me one of those.
Do you have something against nectarines?
Yes. Nectarines are racist.
I went last night to get these, and all were sold out except Starfox.
