I've been playing a lot of Resident Evil 6 since finishing Deus Ex.
Everytime I play this game, I like it more and more. Its got some really annoying parts with too many qte's and whatnot, but overall its still a great game...just not a great RESIDENT EVIL game. If this was, say, a Lost Planet title or something like that it would have been much better received. But because it didn't deliver the classic RE experience all the longtime fans expect, it is seen as a letdown. Which it is, as a RE game. On its own merits though, its great.
Yes its a great game. Its action is one of the best for a TPS.

So the PS4 Pro doesn't even have an optical out? So my $400 7.1 headphones that REQUIRE optical audio to get 7.1 surround would be reverted to stereo sound with this thing....yeah, retarded.
Personally, I agree with Rich too that it looks cheap. The Xbone S looks like an improvement, but the PS4 Pro looks like every other PS remodel....as in, a cheaper version of the original system.
Scorpio FTW
Hold on...PS4 slim and PS4 pro are the same console aren't they? Fuckin. A....these companies are getting confusing. If I'm confused as someone who reads up on this shit all the time, imagine the average person.

OK...two different systems. Scorpio still FTW. LOL
For a long time I held off on buying a ps4 because I knew a better version was coming. Now that the pro has been announced, I can finally...buy a cheap ps4 slim because the pro offers JACK SHIT of added value in return for a higher price bahaha. Fucking sony lol.
Who wants to play a gorgeously hued, original Legend of Zelda style with a tiny bit of Fez mixed in for good measure... game?
Then you have to go and download Hyper Light Drifter RIGHT now!
It's a minimal upgrade for an expensive price.
I got a steam controller a couple days ago, it is certainly something worth trying, but I dunno if I like it or will like it.
Yep, it wouldn't even be worth it to trade in my PS4 for the Pro.
I think that the Xbox One Slim, which in some ways is better then the PS4 Pro, changed things. Also I think people were expecting Sony to improve the specs of the Pro to more closely match those of the Scorpio.
I never read any of the rumored specs, just waited on what Sony presented. I really couldnt afford a new console but interested in if it MAY have been worth the upgrade.
The best thing about Hyper Light Drifter is the lack of a narrative... You do get a few still pictures that kind of show what happened to the world and where to find bosses you need to hunt down... For the most part, though, you need to figure everything out on your own, a-la original Legend of Zelda...
Thing is, the game takes a good amount of skill too. It's not as easy as a typical Zelda game. There's dashing, there's projectile reflection and what you need to do is not always spelled out for you...
Did I mention there's guns, shotguns and grenades too?
This weekend, I've been nearing the end of my Deus Ex: Mankind Divided playthrough. Besides that bizarre moment last night, I'm really enjoying this. Good game, glitches and all.
As tempting as this game sounds, I'm going to pass for now. My gaming plate is full at the moment with Deus Ex, Batman Episode 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Nothing changed for me. I never cared about it enough to follow it that closely. More of a curiosity to see if Sony will fail or not.
This weekend it's been Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and Overwatch for me. Good stuff.
