This surprises you? Cmon man....Nintendo is done trying to compete with the big boys. They've been done since they stopped the Gamecube production line. This is why the one Ubisoft confirmed NX game is Just Dance.

This is the second time Ubisoft is making that statement about the casual audience. At E3, Alain Corre said :
“And they are addressing the family market in a very different way, their own way, which we appreciate. We have done a lot of products and successes with Nintendo in the past, and we believe that the NX will recapture a lot the lapsed Wii players. So we will see when they release it, but we are confident.”
Haven't played it...but I DLed it. I download most of the free games that Sony and MS offer each month as long as they have a good rating and look decent.

What's the benefit to the developer of all these free games on PSN/XBL? They get paid a certain sum right? But alot less then they would have if someone had just bought the retail game?

We have these milestones during development. I play the game, then give staff my comments, my advice on what direction they should be heading in. At one of the milestones, the game was fantastic. There were so many great elements. But at the next milestone, that was all gone.
I'd made a lot of comments about what they needed to add, but I never told them what I thought was good about the game at that milestone. So they added stuff that I'd recommended, but they also added some other elements they thought would work well – and that ended up breaking all the good parts of the previous build. I learned that, when it's good, I have to say so. If I'd managed that we'll, maybe development wouldn't have extended quite so much.
Rookie.
Miyamoto would have laid the smack down and sorted this kind of thing out. Thanks for the delay Aonuma.
Tried the Starfox Zero demo, there's not 1 stage it's all training with the vehicles and then the anime episode. Wtf at the controls..... it would work if they let me invert the axis but the demo doesn't let you. I found by pressing minus you get the cockpit on the tv and can control the game normallywhich works. Everything apart from the arwihg controls well. the gyrocopter is very pilotwings. Starfox Guard demo is also up. plays well and has better graphics than zero. it's simple but very fun.
So I was typing on my phone before.
Anyway, theoretically this should be no different than FPS, using IR or Wii U gyro for accurate aiming and the left stick for movement. But it feels super weird and confusing with a flight based game, where you are used to a locked viewpoint, locked to the center of your vehicles aim. My biggest problem was not being able to invert the stick in the demo, which it said you could from the pause menu. Can you do it from the pause menu in the full game, for anyone that has it?
Because I couldn't invert, I was pulling down on the stick to move my ship up. But then to aim up and I was motioning up. So it felt like rubbing your belly and patting your head at the same time. Super weird. I did find the controls for all the other vehicles to be great and fun. Shame there is no proper stage in the demo.
I probably wouldn't consider buying Starfox Zero based on the demo, but Starfox Guard was actually pretty fun, so the bundled version at a cheaper price might be worth it.
I guess the demo isn't for sale in the US. I wanted to see how bad it is, myself.
If you press the minus button you can control the game using the left stick in cockpit style and still use motion for added accuracy and it immediately eliminates the weird disconnect with the aiming. But then in the demo when you are asked to follow Slippy, Peppy etc, they quickly move so fast out of your cockpit view you have to go back into third person.
So Starfox Guard, the U pad screen is just a map with cameras you can touch to switch between. On the TV you have the picture broken up to multiple viewpoints. You watch to see where the robots are coming from, press the camera on the U pad to switch to it and shoot the robot with your laser. Super simple but very enjoyable and in a weirdly pervese way, the graphics were better than SF Zero, but then I never saw an actual real level in the demo, just training and open space.
The scale of the beast is clear as he comes nose-to-nose with two caged divers dwarfing them with his immense heft.
Although an exact measurement was not possible, a visual comparison with the official record holder, 20ft long shark 'Deep Blue ', shows that this mighty shark is definitely a contender for the title of world’s biggest shark.
Some of the other incredible shots show great whites coming right for the camera with their large mouths wide open displaying their razor-sharp teeth and breaching the surface of the water to attack the bait.
One of the world’s leading underwater photographer and publisher of Alert Diver magazine Stephen Frink, 67, from Key Largo, Florida Keys snapped the impressive beasts in South Australia, South Africa and Guadalupe, Mexico.
Best Buy elite members get Black Friday deals today. Star fox and xenoblade (yoshi and Mario maker too) are $24. I got star fox. Yes xenoblade is better but the truth is I'll never play it, it will just go on the shelf and I won't find time for it. So the short easy to beat game wins.
I'm very glad he did, I always enjoy your contributions.

What was that Bush thing from? LOL
Well they must get compensation somehow.

Iraq or Afganistan. A journalist threw his shoes at Bush, which is a big offensive move there. Insulting etc. Everyone else laughs.

Well he ducked that first shot nicely. Hopefully they didn't smell.

He should have picked them up and said "Thank you Afganistan for this gift of shoes."
These amazing images capture what could be the largest great white shark in the world.

That's a big fuckin' shark. I'd probably shit myself.
