Amazon has the 4gb version of the new model for $160. That's the one I'd go for since I have a 250gb hdd sitting around from the slim.

I went through 4 of those launch 360's.....a friend of mine who got his at the same time from the same batch as me, his lasted 2 years longer than mine. Asshole. I think I only had to pay once to have it fixed....I remember the last time they wanted me to pay and I flat out refused and told them I was just going to get rid of my xbox stuff and buy a PS3.....THEN suddenly they were able to fix it for free.

Worked fine until the Halo Reach limited edition slim model came out, I traded my original in for that and that's the one I've had ever since.
