I had an opportunity to get a Majora New 3DS two days ago...
...and passed it up.
To be honest:
(1) I HATE golden things normally. I do not wear any gold jewelery and find it tacky.
(2) I don't even know if I'll LIKE Majora's Mask yet or not. I've started it and stopped it a half dozen times.
(3) If I REALLY need a Limited Edition system, I have the Monster Hunter one pre-ordered **in SILVER** ...
(4) Despite ordering the MH system, I've FINALLY come to the conclusion: "Do I really give a FUCK what the system's outer shell looks like when what really matters is whatever is going on, on screen?"
There are no words.
I would have had to travel all the way across Manhattan and put off a meeting AND meeting a friend for dinner to get the pre-order which would have been sent to my home on launch day anyway. I wouldn't even be able to pick it up in the store I had to go to anyway...

PRINCESS PEACH... DIES... and is BURIED... under a tree on a hill by her Castle... can you imagine a Mushroom Kingdom without Peach?
It's no small wonder Miyamoto wanted the ending edited for the US... people would be all over something like that normally and be demanding the full story or answers! Either that or Shiggy didn't want to tarnish Mario's image on this side of the pond!

I had to tell myself that a hundred times so I wouldn't get the Persona Q limited edition 3DS. God that still looks so good.

No, I don't think so. But I do remember the ending of Galaxy got kind of metaphysical and was open to a lot of interpretation.
Thing of beauty. If they made a New 3DS version, that would have been the one I would have wanted. It came out too close to "New" for anyone to care too much about it, sadly...

I've put Q on hold for the moment as I'm completely engulfed in MH3U. I'm now able to go after the Cadeaus (final monster or at least the final monster before the post-game content), and I've pretty much got tunnel vision for that. I'll pick up Q once this is completed, at least I think I will. As much as I like the game there's just something about the 3DS that has never gelled with me and picking up that damned thing feels more and more like a chore. Really strange too because I loved the DS. Wish I could figure out what it is about the system that I don't like.

That's REALLY too bad if you don't... The more you play, the better and better it gets. The more the two teams discuss their individual situations, the more I learn about them and grow attached to them. It is a masterful blending of the two --and-- the later labyrinths and their puzzles start to get very clever. My hype for P5 has grown to nearly intolerable levels thanks to this game!
Honestly... no regrets!
I'll get to it. Maybe I'll pick it up this week. I have a business trip for the first half of this week and I'll need to figure out something to do with my downtime as I'm too broke to hire a hooker off of Craigslist, and I can't handle more than one drink a night anymore.

I guessed that it was Peach. All of that information could be found in the library section of Galaxy. Like I said, I wished Miyamoto would've carried through with that storyline and not edit it out.
