^ Yes. I just bought it a couple days ago (Legendary Edition). It's much improved over Oblivion and Morrowind. Skyrim feels more alive, and the dungeons are 10 times better. I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

I'm currently in the middle of the Ustengrav tomb, trying to retrieve the Horn of Jurgen Windcaller.

There is a miami comic convention, like a really big one. With the cast of Arrow, some old GoT cast members. The creator of shovel knight is there. The old power rangers. I had no clue. Robio I blame you, you are the florida convention guy Nyaa .

I told you about it three weeks ago. I mentioned it in my blog thread about calling all those video game companies and asking them for promotional items. This is why you and everyone else who even visit this site casually need to read everything I write. My posts are pure gold and should be taken as such.

I found a real score today. A couple years ago I had an Xperia Play smartphone but it mysteriously vanished about a year and a half ago. I assumed I had accidentally left it at a grocery store but today while moving a couch we found it wedged in between some of the interior. it had some pretty good emulators for it so I may use it and try my hand at playing some of those translated ROMs again.

Didn't you try calling the phone from your house after you lost it, just to see if you heard a ring?

Yes, I'm not that stupid.... just stupid enough to lose the phone in the first place. If I remember all the details right, we called it a half dozen times, and never heard it. I assume it was on vibrate, as I rarely keep the ringer on.

Zelda Wind Waker is done, 100%. And now for a rant, but know I absolutely love this game, I played non stop all week, there is nothing like a Zelda game... well except other zeldas.

Wind Waker is so damn easy, it really is babies first zelda. Even in hero mode, after you get a few hearts there is no challenge there. The sad thing is the combat mechanics were really great and in certain room a smart mix of enemies creates one hell of a challenge. But 99% of the time Nintendo chose the stupidest mix of enemies where all you do is mash A or use the win item and beat everyone easy. How many caves do you enter that is just bokobilns, or some chu chus.

Then there are the dungeons, some of the easiest ones in the whole series. Plus this was the game that really went all out with the linear dungeon. OoT started it but some dungeons still had that maze feel, especially the water temple. Most dungeons there was a point where you had to think where to go. This game has none of them, except for two chests in each dungeon everything is basically laid out to you in one path.

The puzzles are mostly easy. Take the Earth temple, here you have an extra character to manage, you do puzzles with light which both of you can reflect. You can come up with all sorts of complex puzzles with that. But nooo most is the most easiest hit switch, stand here crap. The final room in that dungeon was looking like this grand complex puzzle room but the floor has marked paths and a spot where the statues with the mirrors are supposed to go, WTF. They dont even trust you enough to put the statues on the marked spots, you have a path where that is the only place you can push it. Its ridiculous. Oh and the booses, probably the worst in the series, all pushovers.

This damn game started the "easy zelda". Thankfully TP went all out in with way better dungeons, puzzles, bosses but sadly the combat remained in easy mode. That said anyone that thinks WW is better than TP is a CRAZY PERSON. One dungeon in TP, pick any of them, is more complex than anything in WW. Every boss, hell some of the subbosses are better than any boss in WW. Yes exploration in WW is magical and it is pretty, doesn't make it a great Zelda. As for SS vs WW, I said SS is the worst and its closer than I thought. WW does not have the highs of SS but it does not have the lows either. SS has moments I straight up dont like, I almost never dislike stuff in a zelda game, WW maybe easy and made me wish for more but I was never in a bad mood. Its enjoyable from start to finish. But SS has better dungeons and puzzles and a more interesting combat system.

Nintendo had a chance to really take WW and add some dungeons, actually change up the enemy placement. But they went for the easy remaster. Still a masterpiece but an easy one. I just hope the next console zelda is challenging.

WW is the worst of the 3D Zeldas. Skyward sword poops on it from a great height.

So those guys Nordic Games, who bought the rights to Red Faction & Darksiders, are coming out with Collections for both, sadly only on last-gen consoles instead of PS4 and Xbox One which would have been cool.

But, the Red Faction Collection doesn't include Red Faction 2....the fuck?

Just in case I don't get to it later today I've been playing:

I'm nearing the end, and holy hell this now right up there with the best Metroidvania games that I've ever played. I love everything about Guacamelee: STCE. The art style, theme, constant game references, sense of humor, and most importantly the gamplay. This game has some of the toughest 2-D platforming in an adventure game like this that I have seen in god knows how long. DrinkBox really did an amazing job of forcing you to think about every move/ability you have available, and how you have to use them to progress. It does a nice job of maintaining its difficulty as your character gets stronger so you never feel overpowered, which is something that a lot of games (Symphony of the Night for instance) don't do so well. The only complaint is I just wish the varied up the backgrounds a little more, had a few more enemy types, and a few more songs on the soundtrack. Nothing major, really just the limitations you find in the typical indie game.  I'm very happy that I waited to play it on the Wii U (instant access to the map is hard to give up once you start using it and makes navigating much eaiser), but I still want to kick myself for not playing it before.

Mighty No. 9 animated series announced

And now Inafune gets to make even more money off of his Kickstarted game that he didn't have to invest much in to begin with. Good for him. I'm not bitter though. By the way the game doesn't look nearly as cool as it did from the demo art.

I never played a Red Faction game. Is this disappointing? What that the best in the series or something?
