More TDs, More yards, better QBR, better accuracy, more game winning drives/comebacks, more MVPs. What other stats do you want?
I think Brady is #2, to me these are the two best QBs to ever play the game, but Manning is better more of the time.
EDIT: Ok i did the math wrong Brady has better TD/INT ratio.
Best Ever?? I think Joe Montana has something to say about that. They well might be 2nd and 3rd though.
Sons, you disappoint...
Hmmm, yes it does. The 3rd parties went bankrupt because the cost of developing on the HD systems was too high, yet they never went to develop for the Wii or the DS that had significantly lower developing costs!
The 3DS price cut was unprecedented in both the timing and the amount. They also released a ton of games that helped to fix that situation. That is what the Wii U needs, games, games and games. Simple
I am glad we are in agreement. Third parties make gimped version of their games on Nintendo consoles, so no wonder why they don't sell.
If Tomb Raider was released on the Wii U along with all the other versions (so not months or years later) and it was significantly better, because the Wii U is more powerful than the 360 and PS3 then you would have something what we call a effort.
Anyone who is serious about videogames buys multiple consoles or even a gaming PC. So what's your point?
Why would they? If they give me a gimped port of their game on a Nintendo console, why would I buy it? If they want me to buy a multiplatform game on a Nintendo console they will have to give me a reason to do so!
Reading comprehension is a difficult thing for you, is it not? I never said that they can't compete, I said they don't have to compete. If all things would be equal, I said that too! Read what it says, instead of making stuff up!
Are you seriously comparing Sony's and Microsoft 1st party games to Nintendo's?! Really?? Grab the sales of you best selling Sony 1st party tittle and compare it to Mario Kart Wii! Now put stuff in there like New Mario Bros, 3d Mario's, Wii Fit, Wii Sports I can go on and on.
People buy Nintendo games on Nintendo consoles, because they are by far the best games. Also Nintendo has the advantage that their software and hardware team are in the same building. They know their own console better that most. Also it allows them to do stuff 3rd parties just cannot do. Like making a 3d Mario and putting a analog stick on their controller. In this area 3rd parties just cannot compete. Sony made their PS consoles for the 3rd parties, because that is all they had.
Because the way Nintendo threated 3rd parties during the NES and SNES areas is why many left them in the first place.
You are all over the place. Not sure what you are agueing about.
Your point was that 3rd parties do not sell on Nintendo consoles and it is Nintendo fault, because they are different.
My argument is that, 3rd parties never even gave an effort. How the hell would we know if it sells, we simply do not have enough data.
I understand Montana and I will never argue against him. But I never really saw him play and he played in a different era. Who knows what he could have done with these rules. That said he had a super team, the type of teams that are almost impossible to make in the modern NFL. His stats are ok but then again he didnt have to do much. He had the greatest WR ever for a chunk of those years. He went to a new team later in his career and did not do what manning just did.
Its hard to compare but I have seen Brady and Manning basically rewrite what a QB can do, I didnt see Montana do that.
I know the first 2 did.
Cut through all the crap and let me ask you WHY didn't 3rd parties give an effort? Do you think they don't want money? Do you think they are all stupid and don't understand the market (some yes but they are out of buisness now.
)
How am I all over the place, its simple, Nintendo started doing things their own way. They became different, started to not participate in the industry standards and become more insular with almost every gen. Buying just a Nintendo system would never satisfiy a hardcore gamer, so it became a secondary console, you rarely buy third party games on your secondary console. Third parties see the change, they see that system really isn't for them, its for Nintendo to sell Nintendo games and so they slowly decline support.
You cant ask Nintendo to be different from a hardware perspective and expect the same third party support. So either they rejoin the industry standards and do their best at repairing all these relationships and try to prove to the average dude that just buying a Nintendo system will be enough, you will get your CoD with awesome online, you will get your madden, you will get your big bidget third party games and you will get first party games you care about. The day they could do that is the day third party support will return to normal on a nintendo console.
Ancient Japanese Katamari:
Now that is awesome.
As pro, are you feeling better?
That is some beautiful artwork.
I've become weak in my old age. Other games reward you for persistance, this one just seems to keep giving me negative feedback.
No, I've lost my voice today. But that's okay, just a lot tired.
Sorry to hear that.
BECAUSE HE HAD BETTER PLAYERS!!!! AS I ALREADY FUCKING SAID!!!
And he gets MVP's because people gush over him. There was a few years Brady could have easily been MVP (given what he works with) but he gets snubbed because people hate the Patriots and/or Bill B.
Castlevania Mirror's of Fate seems fun. I love me some castlevania so just the lore alone has me excited at the moment. Anyone play this?
I agree Montana is the best ever. That guy was a machine.
Ok yeah he had better offensive weapons for the most part, but its not like some of those stats are that close. Manning is way above Brady in many areas. And every efficiency and advanced metric shows Manning is the better QB. You don't think Manning can do what brady does with the squads he has, Manning can turn crap to gold just as well as Brady.
The best selling games on PS3 were made by Sony (God of War 3, Gran Turismo 5 and Uncharted 2 and 3), but that did not dissuade third parties from backing their very difficult to develop for hardware. Sony makes the best games on their system uniformly, if you think back to the prior generations, and it doesn't hurt third party sales.
I think the difference is that the Sony systems have always had a least parity in terms of hardware capabilities.
More notably, they and MS have always had lower royalty rates than Nintendo, so of course third parties will be drawn to those systems.
I do understand the panic of the general public on Nintendo's latest news, that's the internet, it will always be crazy in it's response, but I don't understand Nintendo itself going crazy at this point, saying they won't rule out M&A and smartphones.
Once they have enough evergreen tittes under their belt the system will be more attractive for a larger group to buy...
oh fuck it, what am I saying? That fucking gamepad has to go.
thinks about it...
yeah, there is nothing they can do now to bring third parties around to the Wii U, given the disparity in power, the aberrant control scheme and low install base.
Time to try something else.
There was maybe 2 years in his entire career where Brady had a better offense to work with than Manning. So it only makes sense Manning would have better stats. And judging by what I've seen the Patriots management saying the last few days, it doesn't look good for that to change before the end of Brady's career. Say what you want about Kraft being a good owner/ changing the franchise around etc...but he is becoming a cheapskate who doesn't wanna pony up the extra money to win it all. Brady took a pay cut last year so they could go sign him some weapons, and they go and let Welker go to guess who, Peyton Manning while they sign some dude who is nowhere NEAR as good, to go along with a bunch of average rookies. Last year was the worst offense I've ever seen the Pats have under Brady.
I'd like to see what Manning's stats would have looked like this past year if his top receiver was Julian Edelmann.
