Wow PlayStation Now is pretty mind blowing. I knew it was coming but not so soon and not so all encompassing. This is going to work with everything short of toasters. If it works well and latency isn't a problem, Sony will have a big win on their hands.

On that note though if its a success it'll be another nail in the coffin for the Vita. Why buy a Vita for it when you can get a tablet for the same price that does even more?

I don't get it...what was so amazing about the Sony event? Was there games?

I see info on the Playstation backwards compatibility service, and info on 4K resolutions. BC is great, but I'm not too excited about Super HD for another 5 years.

PS Now sounds cool, if I was a longtime Sony fan I would already own and have kept the consoles and fave games though. The other stuff is white noise to me, some short range projector, a wildly expensive HMD, some sales talk. I didn't watch it though.

Boring.

Been playing GTA 5 all damn day. This is definitely going down as one of my top 5 games of 2013.

Hands-On: Tomb Raider - Definitive Edition

From a content perspective, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 version of Tomb Raider is identical to the original 2013 release. Although it won't contain any new single-player or multiplayer content; it will offer the side-tombs initially available to pre-orders and later sold on Xbox Live and PSN, as well as the handful of multiplayer maps made available after launch, on the disc.

{But beyond that, you'll have to look really hard to find what justifies the upcoming re-release its "Definitive Edition" moniker. The changes are entirely cosmetic, and many are are so subtle that only the most discerning eyes will notice them without being prompted. Having been given the opportunity to play the new version ourselves, we think you'll probably need a side-by-side comparison to really appreciate the differences here.

Hmm, and IGN says the opposite:

IGN said:
After recently playing Tomb Raider on a high-end PC last year, I was impressed by how good it looked. Lara's hair with TressFX blowing through the wind was a sight to behold, and there were more than a few occasions where I had to stop and just look around at what the dangerous yet mythical island of Yamatai had in store. I thought adventuring through the treacherous cliffs and ruins was gorgeous, but I didn't realize how much better it could look until I got my hands on the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4.

Not sure who is right, but based on that pic I posted yesterday, I can't wait to find out on Jan 28. Happy
