Despite how weak "Lorule" is, that trailer has me jazzed for Link Between Worlds. There actually looks like there might be some genuine story to this game.
Zelda gets kidnapped by some wizard that serves Ganon. Some random old dude/tree tells Link has to collect three whatevers to open a door to Lorule where he meets Hilda who needs help in restoring her world by collecting 6 whatevers and save Zelda in the process. Ganon returns link fights him and wins. Zelda and Link return home. Lorule is saved. Yay!

Just saw the link come across my Twitter feed a minute ago. Nice impressions. I still prefer the bigger screen, but my kiddo has been getting really attached to my 3DS XL over the past week and I'd really prefer not to have it go through whatever eventual disaster he's going to cause it. I think if I can find a sale going on between now and Black Friday I may have to pick one up for him.
