Anyone else watch Ancient Aliens? I love this guy, he's hilarious, he always has this smile on his face like he's yanking your chain. There's this Amerian guy on the show normally in a hotel room backdrop and he has crazy eyes like he'll stab you because he's so paranoid.

I've been working kinda non-stop for the last 3 or 4 months between jobs and my mother. Apparently, I tired myself out enough to get sick. I caught some kind of virus where I have a fever, horrible aches and pains and a constantly running nose. I went to the Doctor's yesterday, thinking I couldn't spare the time to be sick, so "gimme some meds doc and make me better!"
When he told me it was viral and all I could do was stay home through Monday, get lots of rest and drink lots of liquids, at first I was annoyed... Then a few seconds later a smile crept over my face: Doctor's Orders! I needed to chill in my room, be lazy, drink lots of juice and crap AND PLAY SHITLOADS of GAMES!!
Here was a Professional, telling me I had to stop and RELAX! I finally got the PERMISSION to do so! On my own, I would have worked myself to death, but when someone else tells me I need to not be so responsible, chill out and rest, THEN THAT'S OK!!
I know that sounds kinda fucked-up, but it's snapped me back into perspective...
...and I'm having a lot of fun to boot!
