I built mine last year for about $2000 or a little less. And I know its all good for at least another 5 years and it won't be beat by a console until someone releases another one at some point in the future....and with how long this generation lasted who knows how long that will take?
Man I was just checking out some Prey after reading that news piece....brought back memories. 2006 was a loooong time ago. That's why I'm kind of surprised they are even doing a sequel to a game that was a Xbox 360 launch window cult favorite. It came out in that transition period where the only good shit out there at the time was Oblivion and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (on the 360). So Prey got some attention because there just wasn't much to choose from.
It was a neat game though...kind of did the portal thing before Portal. I remember playing it with a friend of mine who I used to game with a lot back then...now he's a hermit and doesn't talk to anyone.
Good times.
Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Reportedly Sells Less Than 2000 Copies in Debut Week, Japan
I wonmder if that is because everyone in Japan already has played it a couple fo times now (though the original and HD releases).
So gta5 online "supports" 16 players" is that per environment? LIke if I get online in that huge city there will only be 15 other real people?
Yeah Wii U's small 1st party diehard audience aside, this was never destined to do well. The Japanese audience already had enough Yakuza 1 and 2. And if what I read was correct Nintendo even asked them not to make it and to try remaking something else.
It couldn't even kill off the GameCube.
Jesus.... DuckTales Remastered throws in the biggest dick move I've seen in a video game in years. Not to spoil anything, but they added another segment to the end game that is brutally hard. Not unfair hard, but rather "you weren't expecting this shit were you?" hard. Plus it incorporates a skill set that you didn't need thus far so it's tough to grasp. Needless to say I did not beat the game tonight.
robbbioooooOoooooo!

I HATE extended endings.
Ohshit!
They should have remade Shenmue 1 & 2...how awesome would that be on the Wii U? I would have pre ordered it in a heartbeat.
Shenmue really doesn't hold up (as compared to Yakuza).
I spent a fucking hour playing that entire stupid level cause of the crap at the very end of it.
Its done. Enjoyed most of it. Did not like the end.
Now you're both going to give it a 4.5.
But if they remade it with the combat of Sleeping Dogs...
The best thing about Shenmue was playing Hang-on in the arcade.
Yeah, that's what I believe it will be like, just like IV.
Nahhh. Its a solid 8.0 though.
Which equals a Foolz 4.5.
I keep forgetting the respective grading curves around here.
