I love how everyone is now excited to play the game, like anyone would go see a movie just cause Willem Dafoe is in it.

I found it to be a bit sterile.

I appear to be in a world limbo land where my ISP has said I am over cap and have been slowed to 64 KBPS, however, my internet is not slow at all.  So I am in the process of downloading everything I can in my Steam library.

I was reading a review of it last night in an old EGM.  The editors did not get whatever it was that they were going for. 4.5 on the low side and a 6 on the high side.

I picked up a Logitech F310 the other day as I heard this pad was more compatible with older games than the Xbox pad, and it works GREAT I'm happy to say.

The Xbox pad would not work right with Tomb Raider 4. For some reason the triggers were not recognised which made setting up the controls impossible. This controller has no problem at all...I guess it has some kind of mode that switches it back into older game compatibility mode or whatever. All the buttons work fine for TR. In fact, its much more comfortable than a Playstation pad for these games thanks to the smooth D-pad, so moving around isn't a pain on the thumbs.

For some reason, I can't take in game pics through Steam of TR4...but I wish I could. This game is SO much better looking on the PC than it is on the Playstation that it almost looks like a different game. Honestly, these old games on the PS are almost unplayable nowadays because the graphics are so bad. On the PC, this game literally looks like its beyond even a high level N64 game. Can't these console guys just aquire the rights to bring the BETTER version of these games out as Downloadable titles? People don't know what they're missing if you're playing the same crappy PS1 version on the PS3, when you could have a VASTLY superior version.

Anyway, very happy about this pad for the old classics.a

Logitech make some quality controllers. Comfortable, responsive, and just generally well designed. Until they start to literally disintegrate in your hands.

I love Logitech. They have exited the console space though (abuot 2 months ago). Their PS2 and Xb wireless controllers really hit the spot.

So I talked to my friend who used to work at IGN and he is going to E3. I asked if he could get me in and he is going to see what he can do. I got the flight easy as I have a ton of free flights with all my miles. All I need is the ticket in. So my attempt to go to this years E3 has begun.

We failed miserably on that count. I'd give you a time, but the person I'm doing it with doesn't really know when he can do it. It's a matter of the lazy arse getting up early enough.
