I don't think I can handle another Assassins Creed this year....I think they've lost me. Why rush another one out? They have Splinter Cell, Rayman, that new Rainbow Six among others releasing soon.
Totally I hated the new one, boring and unispired went off all over the place, lost it's direction.
Assassins Creed lost me at Revelations. At that point I had already played through three games in the series... how many do they need? They all pretty much play exactly the same, they are pretty much the same game. Ugh so boring.
I don't hate the new game but it's not as good as 2, the design is nowhere near as tight.Yup they are going to kill it. They have been really really lucky with it. This isn't an online shooter where players are waiting for each years new game. This is a mostly single player game and somehow they have maintained sales, I think having the last one he called AC3 helped big time, as well as the new setting. But hopefully people realize we don't need one every year.
I'm loving bioshock 2. Not as good as the first but the combat is as interesting as ever. Nothing better than setting up for a major battle.
Beyond is coming out soon? Wow feels like that game is still a way off. Have we even seen actual gameplay yet? How the hell is it coming in April?
This cross gen thing is going to be big for a while. I wonder how long it will last, I think over a year, next year we will still see cross platform games.
Ubisoft said for them it would go into 2015 which is fairly pleasing to me as they seem to be the only publisher attempting parity with wii u support. By the time cross gen ends u will be 3 years old, so 2 years of nuthin left. lolSadly now I have to buy a new laptop.
So the castlevania 3ds demo is really good. The combat kind of works and it seems it wil have a giant map to explore. Plus it has Trevor, alucard and Simon, the all star cast. The music is meh though. Oh and the 3d is amazing.
my handheld backlog is way worse than my console one so I will wait to get this one.

Looks nice, but I don't see a lot of improvement over Skyrim. Maybe it's just me but these next gen games look pretty current gen to my eyes.
Its not coming out until 2014 though...lots of time for improvement.
I honestly would not care if it looked exactly like Witcher 2 as long as it plays great. I already have the hardware for it either way, just give me the game!
In the GI issue they said they haven't started using next gen assets yet or something. Basically they were saying the final game will not look like that, which is stupid, why show it then.
